The worst name I ever saw was in an Indian or Paquistani, don't know, drivers license and it went by the name.... ready?... "Batman Bin Suparman"... Google it if you don't believe... if told I honestly wouldn't. Other than that names like Ricardo Gordo from my class, it literally translates to Richard Fat.

I don't know if this qualifies because it was before Nazi Germany's rise, but 'Harpo Marx' was born 'Adolph Marx.'

There is a girl in my area who is kind of an urban legend, but I know people who know her (they say). I'll begin with some background. For a certain African tribe, it is a tradition to allow a child to decide his or her own name when they turn 4. Well, this particular family who lives in America decided to do the same for their child. She chose for her first name "Chinesegirl." Her middle name: "Thumbelina." I kid you not. The last name is just as ridiculous, I won't say the full name for the sake of her privacy (assuming she exists).

Kalasnjikovka (from AK(-47)). This is true
Not exactly. The AK-47 was invented by this man. [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mikhail_Kalashnikov]

Kalashnikov not Kalasnjikovka.

As for terrible names, there's some celebrity who named their kid Apple. Yeah, that would have to be the worst.
NOT THAT MAN. There was a girl with the NAME (FIRST NAME) Kalashnikovka and dude.... I know who was Kalashnikov

As much as this will seem like a lie, it is absolutely not...

When I was younger, I was reading the newpaper with my father, and came across, in the obituaries section, a paragraph (and huge title) dedicated to the memory of...

"DICKIE BUMSTER"

I shit you not.

Foo-qwan.

Heard it on Scrubs a while back, (Turk wants to name his son that.) Thought it was the most awful and ridiculously funny name I've heard.

Oh and there's a local cab driver named Richard (Dick) Seman.

A friend of mines aunt named her new baby Wolfgang. I pity that child. It could be worse. He could have been a girl and they could have named her Wolfhilda.

And old supervisor at uni was called Søren (ignore that, just a Danish name) *****. Rather unlucky and made it difficult not to laugh at times.
Also, I saw a guy on the telly called Robert Knepper, where knepper is Danish for fucks.

I had a classmate in my senior school called Stephen Asimaning-ping-pong.
I still have no idea how ping-pong gets into a surname.
