My uncle's dog ate half of a $100 bill...hillarious unless you were my uncle...he also devoured several screws and pens...
One of my dogs chewed up really expensive safety goggles that I had been assured by my parents that after they had used it they had picked it up...liars...

Wow... Worst thing ever destroyed I owned was an earring that was knocked over. Though Gizmo our neighbours cat (who practically lives in our house) fell in a fishtank day. We covered the tank after my bro's cat took a swim and needed help getting out (only a kitten).

My dad's dog destroyed a lot of meaningless stuff like plastic bags wetting over it. My dad's previous dog ate our babysitters chocolate bar when she went to the toilet. :-/

She got a hold of it in the backyard and... oh god, it was just horrible! O_O
She ripped it up and tossed it about and there was guts and... ugh.
Reminds me of when my neighbour's dog got a hold of a baby rabbit. Not a pretty sight (Luckily they managed to save the other one she was going after. Now it's a big, fat, very happy pet of theirs)

OT: Worst thing my dog has destroyed...probably a pair of gloves that belonged to my late grandmother.

My $60 headphones. My dog thought it was a chew toy and bit right through the wire.
It makes me glad I've never paid more than $25 for any headphones I've owned. And also makes me glad I have no pets. >_>

dogs must prefer female shoes haha
Not to sound sexist or offensive, but female shoes usually are in more abundance around the common home... It's just easier for the dogs, I guess.

That isn't sexist, its actually true hehe especially in my house. I have 2 crates of shoes and my bf has 2 pairs of shoes hehe. So dogs are just being really lazy hehe

Two whole crates? And here I thought me owning seven pairs was odd. I own more than regular guys do, though, so I'm not really in the same loop.

For Metaloaf our cat: The corner of my mattress, the corner of my sister's mattress, the corner of a couch, a number of objects with feathers, string or ribbon and I have a feeling she's the one who messed up a plushie I was working on.

For THEM (the dogs): Nothing major really. They're far too stupid. They may have gone after an insulated coffee cup or two.

Previous dog: We had a previous dog when I was 3. I still remember him even to this day. He destroyed my power rangers, he destroyed my play dough flower shop set, my bean bag chair, a number of pencils, at a 2 pound bag of chocolates and attacked me once. I thought my dad was going to kill the dog after he attacked me.

Damn cat, Im glad you were run over
that's a little messed up.

OT: so far one book shelf, my arm, and to many cables to count.
Sorry my sense of online humor is a little twisted

I know that you where just joking, I was just making a joke because most people where probably thinking it. I know that, if you cat did get hit, you would probably be sad and upset about it, not say that you where happy about it.

My mom's dog got a 360 controller of mine a while back (when I had a 360). He also got four library books at the same time, my dad was pissed. Finally, he wrecked my weight bench. And two lay-z-boy recliners. Three pairs of shoes. Really, this list doesn't end.

I have 2 dogs and I think I've been lucky, having only lost:
- a USB mouse,
- SATA cable
- and a rented copy of Coverfield
(because the only thing better than paying to replace a rented movie is paying to replace a bad one)

What is the worst you have lost (not specific to IT/gaming).
)
Of all my time here, this is the first thread that made me burst into uncontrollable tears.
And not even your 20th post, too.
Congratulations.

We just had to put her down.
She was such a good girl, only once did she ever do anything bad, and that was to get into the trash.
Once.
We had her for ten years.

My PS2. When it was running and I was in the bathroom, he started chewing on it.

My iPod. At the time, I had just gotten it for Christmas and I found 2 of my cats dragging it by the earphones across the floor.
