OT: so far one book shelf, my arm, and to many cables to count.
You had a pet that destroyed your arm? How so?
the cat would latch on, kick it, and bite it, I have some scares left from when he was a kitten, and the dog just lightly chews on my hand once in a while, doesn't hurt, just annoying.

Not my pet, but my grandmas dog destroyed my mom's cellphone several years back. I was keeping it for her so I would have a phone to call her with. The dog tore it to pieces and ate half of it after my mom directly told me to keep in out of the dogs reach.

My cat also completely destroys my heterosexuality when I'm around him. He just SO DAMN CUTE i cant help but make sweet kitty love to him. (I pet him a lot, you pervs, I'm not a beastiality creep or anything!!)

just recently an HD LCD 40" t.v
oddly enough the store called it an act of god, and their warranty specifically states
"does not cover in case of act of god"

I came home to find my labrador had managed to reach for a pack of anti-depressants, anti-biotic creme, thyroid (can't spell it) tablets and heart tablets. She had eaten the whole tube of anti-biotic creme, and a cocktail of rest. She was one high dog for a couple of hours.
Oh and the same dog managed to chew through £300 worth of shoes :O.

Methinks you got weaseled on that one.

I'm noticing a disturbing trend of this happening to only women in this thread...
Regrettably, no. My sister's puppy tore apart my dress shoes. Fortunately he did it well in advance of my friend's wedding, but I was not happy about having to shell out the money for a new pair.

My familys little budgiar destroyed some painting that my mother bought in China many years ago. It was painted on some pargament scroll reminding kind of way and the little bird chewed of the top part of it making the rest fall down. It also loves to destroy long tall plants that my mother places everywhere, by chewing through the base of the plant.
