What is your all-time favorite animated movie?

I also love "old" Disney films like, Lion King and Mulan.

I love Miyazaki's works. I haven't seen an animated film that tops what he's done yet. Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle and Princess Mononoke, in that order.

Query: was the original title Grace of the Fireflies because all the US translations have it as Grave of the Fireflies.

The Secret of NIMH, without a doubt.

Damn yeah NIMH would be up there, a film which oozes magic from the most mundane sources. In that vintage I'd also think of Watership Down and a little-known gem called The Mouse and His Child.

Does rotoscoping count? If it does: Waking Life.

Good question, I'd definitely +1 Waking Life if that was the case, I've watched that film far too many and not enough times.

i think the one i watched most recently was my neighbour Totoro. i'm not sure, i like them, but i don't watch them very much.
