I want to be a trauma surgeon

Currently doing a masters in Japanese linguistics.

Life is funny like that. Medical school is so competitive in the UK so I am going to an ex-communist country instead.

Seriously, after stupid Nick Clegg and his fees I will take on whatever nationality of the country who lets me have a medical education.
So you're studying Japanese language to go to Russia or whatever and become a doctor? Interesting carreer path I must say.

Speaking of healthcare, I'd love to actually go to the UK and study health science (is that what it's called? I'm not sure) and become a proper paramedic for some time. Now I already work more or less part-time as an EMT here but it is just such a huge difference between what we're allowed to do here, even if I'd finish the highest levels and what you can do after a study.

Secondly, since I have always loved space I would very much like joining ESA (European NASA, just to make that clear). I could have taken astronomy but instead went with Robotics for the technical side of space exploration and I hear after your PhD you've got not so bad chances of working with them, for a limited time at least.

I met a guy who was a game beta tester, or something. Basically he would spend all day playing games, AS HIS JOB, and then got to say what he thought of them, good, bad or whatever. Kinda like a Zero Punctuation like thing, but easier 'cos it doesn't have to be entertaining or whatever.

I'm a chef at the moment but the hours kill me bad. I work 11hour shifts, 5 days a week, til like 10.30 at night, might have to look into this beta reviewer lark.

Games Journalist. Some people never grow out of their early childhood career choices. Although, that said, when I was 10 I wanted to be an assassin, so...

Looking back on it I was not a healthy child.

Anyway, if I can't do that I'd love to be a concept artist. Designing characters, evnvironments, gadgets, logos - all that stuff, things that could become iconic. It would be amazing to be up there with the guys that drew out the Combine Citadel and the decaying urban sprawl at its feet, or the designer of the tribal-looking Hylian Crest, even if no-one remembered my name. Leaving a virtual legacy like that would be such a wonderful thing for someone like me.

But I'd be happier writing about games. 'Tis what I want to do with my days.

No no, it gets worse, I was thinking of Hungary

UK is a good place to do medical things if you can afford it, except doctoring because the odds are against you for a place. But yeah, paramedics here are so well trained and get to do a lot with tubes and wobbly bits-yummy.

Oh, that doesn't sound that bad. But you'll probably have big troubles with the language, even with the international medical latin.

Tubes and wobbly bits? Sounds perfect for me! But I'd never do medicine anyway, I don't think I would like that.

I've only just found out what it is i want to do (so i'm pretty much fucked if i want to become one). But i want to be a Physiotherapist; physical injury oddly intrigues me, in that i want to find the injury's origin, how it effects the person and how best to treat it.

having a background in personal training means that i can analyse and treat the damage effectively. If anything, when one of my friends gets an injury (like rotator cuff damage), i advise effective exercises in order to aid mobility and rebuild strength.

It makes me sad to know that i only just discovered this is what i want to do, and i probably will never get there.

A game designer specialising in gameplay and mechanics. I've always had this magnetic pull towards the inner workings of games.

Lesse here...

1.) Writer. This was my first and foremost dream job and it still is to this day. Everyone I've ever had check my work has said it's great, but I personally think it's carp.

2.) Game Designer. I have all sorts of awesome ideas for new and innovative games without sacrificing fun for the sake of "art."

3.) Opening my own hybrid Coffee Shop/Arcade/Comic Book Store. It'd be called C4 for Coffee, Cards, Comics and Controllers. It'd be AWESOME. :D

Has anyone actually critiqued it? Like a writer to writer? I'd be happy to do that for you if no one else already has.
