So you're studying Japanese language to go to Russia or whatever and become a doctor? Interesting carreer path I must say.bluepilot said:I want to be a trauma surgeon
Currently doing a masters in Japanese linguistics.
Life is funny like that. Medical school is so competitive in the UK so I am going to an ex-communist country instead.
Seriously, after stupid Nick Clegg and his fees I will take on whatever nationality of the country who lets me have a medical education.
...But this makes me want to take back everything I just said. Because that would be fucking brilliant.sexbutler said:Whatever Barney Stinson does
No no, it gets worse, I was thinking of HungaryQuaxar said:So you're studying Japanese language to go to Russia or whatever and become a doctor? Interesting carreer path I must say.bluepilot said:I want to be a trauma surgeon

Speaking of healthcare, I'd love to actually go to the UK and study health science (is that what it's called? I'm not sure) and become a proper paramedic for some time. Now I already work more or less part-time as an EMT here but it is just such a huge difference between what we're allowed to do here, even if I'd finish the highest levels and what you can do after a study.
Secondly, since I have always loved space I would very much like joining ESA (European NASA, just to make that clear). I could have taken astronomy but instead went with Robotics for the technical side of space exploration and I hear after your PhD you've got not so bad chances of working with them, for a limited time at least.
Oh, that doesn't sound that bad. But you'll probably have big troubles with the language, even with the international medical latin.bluepilot said:No no, it gets worse, I was thinking of HungaryQuaxar said:So you're studying Japanese language to go to Russia or whatever and become a doctor? UK is a good place to do medical things if you can afford it, except doctoring because the odds are against you for a place. But yeah, paramedics here are so well trained and get to do a lot with tubes and wobbly bits-yummy.
difficult to explain, short version is damaged knee with side effects of constant debillitating pain and inability to sleep (Due to pain) But my walking sticks pretty cool for hitting annoying children with (JOKE!)I Have No Idea said:What's your disability, if I might ask?putowtin said:Writer

Has anyone actually critiqued it? Like a writer to writer? I'd be happy to do that for you if no one else already has.SixWingedAsura said:Lesse here...
1.) Writer. This was my first and foremost dream job and it still is to this day. Everyone I've ever had check my work has said it's great, but I personally think it's carp.
