I like dark game themes like the soundtrack on Halo ODST. The game music from the original sonic games where pretty cool. Power Glove makes metal versions of game music like sonic and final fantasy,you can listen to these on youtube.

I love a lot of game music soundtracks...a lot of what Soule has come up with has been exceptional, several of the Castlevania games have had amazing music, the God Of War soundtracks are perfect for their purpose (namely making you want to kill stuff), certainly the Shadow Of The Colossus soundtrack is fantastic, but for some reason my favorite is the soundtrack to The Longest Journey. It's just gorgeous.

I sometimes wonder what the hell Terry S. Taylor was smoking at the time.
(Don't get me wrong, whatever he was smoking must've made him the innovative weirdo musician he is )
