I listen to music and think about stuff for about a half hour. Sometimes I'll read or lurk the forums too. On occasion I'll even watch a movie, which usually leads to my parents discovering me in the morning lying on my bed backwards with my computer headphones wrapped around my neck and hanging off the edge of the bed and the title screen of the movie still on my computer screen. But that's almost always on weekends.
After my whole bathroom thing (brush my teeth, wash off makeup, etc), I read. I've also found (if possible) that not looking at a screen (TV, computer, DS, whatever) for an hour or so before going to bed helps me fall asleep. I know that's close to impossible for most of us, though.
Waste about an hour on Forum Games, and possibly play Bejeweled. Unfortunately, my longest and best games tend to be right before I go to sleep and I often end up in bed at about 1am.
I usually lie down, close my eyes and get really frustrated when 3 hours pass and I can't fall asleep.
Then I get up, ignore the desire to sleep and start the new day.
The next day, I pass out for a few hours or so, then I'm up again^^
Its...not a very good way to get sleep, but hey...
