I'm just wondering if anyone else has had an amusing coincidence occur to them lately.
I just had one and I don't know about you, but I find it somewhat... Unsettling to have accurately predicted that zombies were going to be at a gallery opening. Just shows how arbitrary my mind is. Here's an elaboration:

I was in my hometown last week, so I decided to go to a nice art gallery to see the new exhibits which featured a friend of mine.
A few hours before I was going to go, I was doing the dishes when the phrase, "What a bunch of useless Zeds..." and imagry of a average-Joe kinda guy in a navy hoodie popped into my head.
When I was there, a guy in the same shade of blue says, "Here come the zombies," and people in bad zombie outfits came in and walked around. It was a reasonably formal occasion, too, with cocktail dresses and the begruged college students whose attendance was required.

I have the unique psychic ability to hear the phone ringing about ten seconds before it's going to ring sometimes. Like maybe once every two weeks or so. It's the most useless superpower ever.

I'm getting some sort of feeling... a spelling error is nearby... yes... yes, it's definitely there...

Sorry, it's just that the thread title bothers me.

My computer sometimes reacts just instants before my cellphone rings. It kind of worries me.

Speaking of technical quirks, my friend has a pair of speakers that just randomly output noise.

They're not plugged into anything.

I also get moments of deja-vu frequently. It'll just hit me as the event occurs. Though, I never remember what happens after the deja-vu moment occurs, so you couldn't say I'm psychic. I'll let it be known if I ever predict my own death and avoid it.

Deja Vu happens all the time to me now. I see exactly what happened before, and exactly what I need to do. Stuff like this is happening more and more often, sometime more frequent when I pray.

Don't worry that happens to mine as well. And my stereo. I think it's just the signal inermefering with the electron beams of the whozamafidgits.

I once had a dream about a regular old night where nothing special happened. Just sitting listening to music in the dark with my ex. I forgot about the dream until about a week later when we were sitting in the dark, listening to music and talking. I thought that was weird, and just as a joke, I told her she was going to have to leave soon as that is what happened in the dream. She laughed then said she wasn't going anywhere. After excusing herself to the bathroom, she came back out with a really weird look on her face to say that she had to leave to go get feminine products from her apartment. She kept looking at me like I was creepy the whole night.
Also, with the same woman after we had been together for a little while, we were on a walk a a state park. We stopped to look at some trees from a wooden balcony just off the trail. She was looking at these really odd trees and I swore she said that the bark looked like the wailing faces of trapped souls and I replied, "Yeah, they do! That's pretty creepy." She said, "'They do' what?" I repeated what she had said. She then pointed out that she never said anything out loud and had just thought it in her head.
She just kept looking at me with strange what-the-hell-are-you looks the rest of the day. lol she still talks about that sometimes.

I once thought something was going to happen and then it did! Oh, yeah, and there were a hundred other times when I thought something was going to happen and then it didn't, but they don't count.

Take a statistics class already. Social psych also explains the many useful but fallible heuristics that we use in pattern-seeking.

Well aren't you just no fun at all? I don't think anyone here thinks they can actually see the future.

I sometime sense the phone is gonna ring before it does too... maybe animals have this sense better developed?
I remember that I once dreamt I ate pancakes and the next day (I didn't spoke to anyone about this) my mom made pancakes, and she rarely make then by the way. Now I just pray that I'll dream 30 cakes tonight :D

Gee that's a hard one, where to start, Every time I think "Hey, I should call my best friend and see if he wants to hang out..." The phone rings and it's my best friend and he wants to hang out. Also, every time I think back on how close I was to my late cousin, and how much fun we had as kids, Here comes the Sun by the Beatles starts playing. The song strangely enough I had stuck in my head during the funeral and later on was played on the radio when the family had dinner at a nearby resturant. I could name other strange happenings but, then I'd look crazy and I'm not, weird shit just tends to happen to me.

Still... predicting zombies at a respectable art gallery? I think statistics are in my favor.

I have the usual kind of friend psychic connection.
Oh, and the ability to call a coin flip right almost EVERY TIME.
