Latin is fun. Took that in high school--it was a total breeze and you got to translate old stories and stuff.

English was my first language, and I know a little bit of Latin. I'm far from speaking Latin fluently, but if I ever found myself lost in the Vatican City I could probably ask for directions. I looked into learning Japanese, for obvious reasons. Do you have any idea how many letters that language has? Ugh, too many. Anyway, I want to learn Japanese, then German, then Gaelic, then Arabic. If I learn all of those, I'll be open to learning another. Maybe Chinese.

I understand (but cannot speak) Assyrian (an aramaic language with a Hebrew flare), useful when talking to family. I'd like to learn Arabic, German and an Eastern European Language (once you know one you understand most of the others). I think the way the world is going, those are three very useful languages to learn. Mandarin is useful as well, but i reckon those are enough for me.
