...I really hate my work colleagues, I just cannot talk to them. For instance they don't realize that saying, "I don't know" is a fantastic way to drive a conversation into a coldersack. Following up on questions, interpreting, trial and error or even a basic level of general interest can help fill in the blanks.
I work with two married guys in their early 30s, how do they survive in a relationship? I am 22, single and have far less experience in social environments - yet I can pretend to be interested in topics that I don't know about.
I have struggled with Anxiety and Depression pretty much most of my life, just once I would like to have a 2 sided conversation about a topic that I know about with someone that likes the same thing. I like to think that I am not a selfish person but I don't feel like I get treated like a person with values. The amount of time and money that I have spent preparing and finding recommendations of great TV Shows/movies/games to simply get brushed aside. I spend $50au on a deluxe boxset of my all time favourite TV Show "Black Books", they commented on it - watched an episode then left it and never mentioned it again. Whats that? Deus Ex is too hard for you? Make another gay joke then.
Now complaining about it makes me feel like an arsehole.

I was replaying FF9 and got to that bit in disk one where you board the cargo ship next to Dali.
When you go inside there's this object in the foreground that looks like a chest, so of course I instinctively go to open it... only for Zidane to state that "Oh it's not a treasure chest, it's a part of the ship that just happens to look like a treasure chest"
Me: *Deadpan blink blink* ... If it isn't a treasure chest then why was it made to LOOK like a treasure chest? I'm already about 1000ft above the ground on-board an airship that flies using the power of monster gas, you could have made that part look like anything and I would have bought it.
Long story short: Objects in a game that look like they could hold loot but are instead a big middle finger from the design team because they think they're funny.

I had to wake up at 6AM today after a rough night of struggling to sleep because my gf had class at 8AM and shes my only ride to college. I don't have class until 11 and I'm tired and pissed >:/

OT: Well, after two weeks of getting on buses full of people coughing and not covering their mouths, my immune system waved the little white flag, and starting yesterday, I'm all sick and gross. Yesterday, I went through three rolls of toilet paper blowing my nose. I've been drinking lots of water and orange juice, and was quite aggravated when I woke up this morning still sick (it's reduced, but still annoying). Having to trawl through tonnes of digital content to make room on my hard drive. Youtube ignores me requesting never show content in HD. You know, first world problems.

Remembering and logging them into their Amazon accounts and going through orders of what they want to buy
Organising and sorting out their MP3 players and making sure they are charged and have the songs they want.
Checking ink levels and making sure we have enough paper for their printer because they can't be bothered.
And finally sorting out anything else electronic and new they buy including a pair of expensive walkie talkies we recently took with us on our holiday to Florida 2 weeks back.
SO yeah my folks appear to be luddites when it comes to new electronic technology and it kind of pisses me off when I'm expected to keep their house tidy let alone handle all their tech and still deal with finding work and life itself =/.
OT: The little thing is but two little things that pissed me off today with the first being back from my holiday from Florida (I loved being there those whole 2 weeks and I fancy living there in the future) and the second is yet another thread about a console and near the end of the thread PC's are once again being shoved into the discussion with superiority and "being the best period" as the chosen typical arguments once again and it's just plain boring and annoying to spout the same shit over and over, can't we all just get the hell along and not have to berate and make another gamer feel stupid and less of a person for their choice?.
To be perfectly fair, I only talked to a few people that was around after the meeting when I asked. My boss was nowhere around and I would've gotten a much better answer from him, but still, it really did piss me off when that happened.Binnsyboy said:

Well, I woke up and saw that it was rainy, meaning I'd have to wear my rain shoes today.
Later, someone momentarily walked in front of me, forcing me to stop in place and wait an agonizing 1.5 seconds for him to move aside while I was on my way to work.
After that, a car honked somewhere after I had crossed the street.
A student co-oping at my company asked to shadow me while I was working today, which was an annoying distraction.
At 12:30, I momentarily experienced hunger before I got out my lunch
My chicken curry was dry.
My throat became mildly irritated near the end of the day.
I can't think of anything else except for the millions of 0.2 second moments between breaths when I felt the need to inhale or exhale.
