There are two types of males in this world: Men and Boys. Boys never grew up, so they do stupid shit, act like jerks, act irresponsibly, and harass women. Men have matured, we know how to be gentlemen, take responsibility for our actions, live with honor, and treat people with respect. Granted, I do think that society needs to loosen it's stranglehold on all things sexual. It is the core of humankind, after all.

Every male will tell you that the definition of a "real" man is whatever best describes them. It is an incredibly undefined term which makes arguing over whether or not you are one completely null and void. The problem is that it is seen as a complement, which I personally am surprised women use since it basically demeans them.
I would probably have to say Old Spice...yea that seems right. Because men sometimes like to spell like a different smelling man.
well, my personal belief is that the differences between boyhood and manliness don't lie in the arena that your girlfriend and her friend were discussing. a lack of masturbation and tit-ogling is refreshing, but it's not a maturity thing-it's a personality thing. what makes you a man is your choices about *important* things, not whether or not you take "time to yourself."
Well, having a penis only makes you a male, not a man.
Being a man means you do stuff that belongs in mantages, like cutting down trees, building houses out of those trees, growing a beard, and owning some kind of primitive double barrel shotgun. Lots of focus on the beard though. But in order to be a man, you have to either a.) live on a mountain, b.) work on a ranch/ farm, c.)be in the military or, d.) be a cowboy/ where a hat and jeans (basically, you have to dress presentable but tough, not like the douchebags these days with tight pants and mascara. Emo hair is only acceptable if you have a nice beard to go along with it and you look rugged).
Jacking off is more of a "guy" thing.
I sometimes have moments where I qualify as a man, but am still on the way.
