What makes a REAL man?

So my girlfriend and her friend got in an argument about me being a "REAL" man. My girlfriend says that since I do not watch porn, do not dwell on sexual subjects much, and do not er...have some "alone time", I am what she classifies as a "REAL" man. Her friend insists that all guys should do exactly the opposite of what I do and should spend all the time with their girlfriend gawking at their tits. Of course, I look every now and then, but I'm not standing there STARING.

So, ladies and gents (but ladies especially), what "makeths the man"? A sex driven idiot? Or someone like me? Or what? And fellas, what do you say makes yourself a man?

"Real" is only defined by one's perception so it is fluid in its nature.

There is no set criteria of behavior to be a real man.

I think you need a pair of balls as well.

But if we are going off how a man acts in a relationship I think that a man is a guy who treats the woman well and with respect, but that's just me.

Also there is a bit of maturity and a certain age that you have to meet before you can be called it as well.

To me a man is one who will not compromise his beliefs for anyone.
He is willing to stand for what he believes in even if it hurts or leads to rejection.

And on a more personal level i believe a man is someone who doesn't follow the worlds view of what a macho manly man is, a sex driven idiot who should be fighting and having sex all the time.

I think a "Real" man is someone who would rather talk something out then fight, someone who respects women, and someone who will do anything for their fiends.

But i wouldn't dwell on it, if your happy with yourself then what does it matter what your GS's Friend thinks?
