I was on a party with some much younger people not long ago. and we had a singstar karaoke thingy. We went through 6 dvds first a modern one and they were like "hell yeah" and i was like "whos this, whats that? should i know them? Whos that?" then i picked the 80's dvd and the whole scene repeated with switched roles ^^

Going to bed sore after a hard day's work only to dream of those days in my twenties when I could work all day and then play basketball all night and still feel great.

I'm 34 and reading this makes me feel really old...
back in my days, people didn't feel old until they where 30 at least. Yep, 30 was the earliest possible age that you could feel "old" or at least "not young anymore".

And now here i am reading posts from people half my age saying that they feel old. Come back when you have a giant gray Beard, like me :p

The usual: Changing culture, dated nostalgia, the inalienable feeling that things were better back in the day, which they weren't & every kid today will tell me so. Grey hairs, younger friends with babies. 26.
Having an older brother helps. Gives me a 3-year heads up.

When I meet people born in the 90s I feel old. Do not even get me started on those born after 2000.

The first gaming console that I had was the gray brick sized gameboy. I still have it because it had some awesome games. The lack of a backup light, colour on the screen, and rechargeable batteries makes me feel old

Today's kids are so spoilt, in my day you had to tilt the screen in order to see the pixels and you could not save, oh no, when you turned it off you had to start all over again..

Also, I got made fun of by my 15 year old cousin for asking about the modem on the iPhone :(

Uh, being able to remember playing computer games when they were new that predate a lot of people I talk to these days having been born?

Remembering the world without the internet existing?
No mobile phones?

Struggling to understand the appeal of facebook?

Eh. When I know that despite being a techy I'm not always keeping up with the latest gadgets and ideas...

I use the phrase "when I was your age" a little more than I would like to.

Most recently was in this conversation:

Me: "God I miss the days of Veronica Taylor."

Cousin: "Who?"

Me: "She made the voice for Ash when I was your age."

Oh, and I recently referred to a certain pop star as "that fucking Bieber kid." When did I start calling people "kid?"

(I'm 19 btw).

I met my best friend/roommate when we were in 6th grade. His sister was born after we met. She's now in middle school.

Also, my younger sister was a freshman when I graduated High School, she just graduated from College.

That's what makes me feel old.

I know I'm old. I'm just desensitized to it.

You know what makes me not feel old? Being twice as old as some of the people complaining that they're old!

When I see a toy ad on tv and think "Toys were better in my day". I'm only 16, toys haven't even changed that much since 'my day'!
Lego has gone absolutely mad. I mean, there used to be an element of fantasy in it, where your car looked like a pixellated truck. Now there's so many specialized stones, there's a unique one in every bleeding model.

I couldn't tell you the age or time I felt old, but I feel old when I have no energy and I see old people with more energy than I do.

When I am playing WoW and say somthing about the RTS games and then realise half of the audience were still feeding on their mothers milk if they were born at all when the older games in the series came out.
Also when I listen to 70s/80s songs or shows that I remember to see on television or listening on the main radios when I was a child and now have to see/listen to them on radio stations/tv channels dedicated to old stuff. I will be 30 in 4 months.
