Anything which is good. I don't restrict myself to not enjoying something because it's from a particular genre. Sure, there are some genres I find myself liking more than others, but I can like anything from Johnny Cash to AC-DC, from Linkin Park to Beethoven. Though my preference in music will depend massively on how I'm feeling.
I feel EXACTLY the same way about music. I refuse to not like something just because it's rap or country or whatever. I like all types of music from chip-tuning to Metallica to Jack Johnson to Eminem.

OT: As already stated I love all types of music. If it's good I'll like it. But above and beyond anything else is video game music. I fucking adore video game music. For me, a good soundtrack can make a good game fantastic,
and if done right can evoke emotions and really draw you into the game like

I listen to rock music. Mostly of the Alternative genre, and all its branches. Like, posthardcore, and Screamo. Indie music, and stuff like that

My music taste develops as I go... I was going to say changes, but I never really stop liking stuff, I just listen to it less as I find new stuff.

My favourite artist at the moment is Phaeleh (pronounced 'Fella') Who is a kind of ambient-dubstep artist. Along with that I also like Distance, Icicle, Kryptic Minds and Buriel.

I also like some mainstream Dubstep too like Nero, Magnetic Man and Flux Pavillion.

I've been looking into quite a lot of Chillout. Anything from Warpaint to Global Communication and Boards of Canada. Theres a lot of music I can't rememeber the names of, but I like it!

I've gone through all sorts of phases that I still listen too every now and again. I was in a 70's Punk cover band in school, (The Clash, Sham69, The Sex Pistols, The Ramones etc...)
And I'm a fan of Rainbow, Metallica, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Doors and many many more!

I split my fave music into two particular parts. Rock or J-pop. Yes. I'm an anime fan. Kill me if you wish but ill just be ressurected so don't bother.

The particular rock i like is Punk or Alternative. But i also listen to abit of metal, hip-rock, classic rock, any other rock if the song is particularly good. I also like Japanese Pop because it sounds unique, the artists aren't all attention seekers (they are starting become attention seekers thou) and the lyrics are rather tasteful as opposed to 'i saw some ***** on the ground, i slapped her ass and took her to my bedroom etc. etc.'. Its pretty much the same criteria and reasons as to why i love english rock. I will also listen to some Rap, Classic, Soft, Electronic or whatever.

I'm most tolerant of music if
-lyrics are tasteful
-the artist's overall message is tasteful (eg. not attention seeking, imagery is not degenerative)
-the sound is good (hard to explain that one)
but the one thing i not fond of is Dubstep (yay! kill me some more fanboys). It just sounds more like headphone rape more than music but thats my opinion.

My favourite songs in particular are Rise Against-Behind Closed Doors For my Rock and Rookiez is Punkd-In My World for my Japanese Rock (If you give a damn).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MxohdQAykeE&feature=related (Rookiez is Punk'd)

Probably be easier to list what I don't listen to, but here goes:
Alt rock, psychedelic rock, blues, americana, grunge, thrash metal, folk metal, electronica, trip-hop, techno, European folk, jazz, and symphonic (soundtracks and the like). Rap here and there on the rare occasion it's actually got some musical merit.

Country, pop, and dubstep and hardcore are about the only things I pretty much categorically can't stand, but I'm pretty picky within the genres I listen to as well.
Pretty much all over the place, eh?

I'm a folkie. So I like folk. I spend my time listening to The Watersons, Martin Simpson, Roy Bailey and Jez Lowe.

Yes, I do lower the average age in a room filled with folkies.

I'm loving your Metal choices, I'm also a massive fan of Power/Symphonic Power Metal.

OT: I listen to most genres of music, I consider my tastes rather diverse. But I have a soft spot for B.B. King (Blues) and pretty much any Power Metal.

Classical, avant-garde, post-rock, math-rock, shoegaze, rap, ambient electronic, dubstep, jazz, Djent, drum & bass, desert rock, blues, progressive death metal, melodic death metal, black metal, folk..

I usually stick to the instrumental stuff, however. Bad vocals can ruin a song very fast.

Since you have put a classification between classical and baroque music, I'd like to point out that Schumann and Brahms are from the Romantic period. The most important composers from the classical period are Mozart, Haydn, Schubert and Beethoven (although they transitioned to the Romantic)... Wait.

Man I should stop being such a classical music nerd...
Hmmm... woops, I actually started a third line for 'Romantic', realised my mistake and removed the wrong thing.

Still... what's wrong with being a classical music nerd?! I'm a Bach nerd! XD
