ISTJ, last time I took the test, which was a few months ago. I may take it again and then compare results to see if anything changed.

Mine was INTJ (Introverted, iNtuitive, Thinking, Judging) Otherwise known as... The Mastermind. I don't even care about what it means, I'm The Mastermind! Also one of my career things was computer programmer which I'm going into :D. Also apparently us Masterminds (Yes I'm going to keep on bolding the word Mastermind, deal with it!) Are very rare. Awesome! Mastermind!
Yeah, I am a mastermind too. I was surprised at first, until I read the description, and everything it said fit me to a T. Especially the part about having strong leadership skills, yet preferring to stay in the background until someone shows poor leadership ability.
I also got INTJ I 11% N 88% T 50% J 33% maybe it's not as rare as they say but yeah mastermind does kind of fit me although I won't take the leader role unless it's been given to me by the group or bought (only taken when left with no choice or when my plan is complete) no matter what I won't follow a bad leader, I'm always thinking up improvements to my plan to cheat death through machines and control the void (which is what I call the space in which all universes are contained) which will take a period of around a couple thousand years to a couple hundred billion years which will become very unclear as time becomes more ilrelavant and chaotic throughout the plan, plus I'm the most unemotional person I know therefore making me a perfect canidate for the role of a cold, evil, yet great and efficent ruler.

I am the second ISFJ in this thread, it seems.

Introverted: 95%
Sensing: 58%
Thinking: 53%
Judging: 58%

It annoys me how it describes everything positively; "rich inner world not obvious to observers" phooey.

Still, it is remarkably accurate. I've taken quite a few of these over the years, out of curiosity; this is the only one with results I (at least partially) respect.

We actually took this in my English class last year. My teacher was pretty cool.

I'm an INTP.

Also I just remembered that is The Architect and I've been playing Dragon Age. Give me a bit to stop cracking up.

I always come out as ENTP or ENTJ and both sum me up well (as do INTP and INTJ at lot of the time).

I think that a lot of the so called accuracy of this test relies upon subjective validation and the descriptions use a lot of barnum statements. Its probably a bit more accurate than, say, astrology but still shouldn't be taken too seriously or you might find the test influences your behaviour.

I ended up being ENTP. Although different tests provided different results. I prefer ENTP to the other results.

The personality quiz is a joke. Even if we want to assume that we're after broad strokes, the questions are still open to personal bias and self deception.

Aside from that, some of the questions are asinine. I won't spend the time to go through all of them, so here are just a few.

"You trust reason rather than feelings." -Anyone can say that they value reason. The only reason irrationality exists is because of people's inability to sense their own irrationality.

"You easily understand new theoretical principles."- Easily? Compared to what? Also, Is new synonymous with complicated?

"You consider the scientific approach best."- Science is a magic word. Most people think of themselves as "scientific," even in matters that are by definition impenetrable by science.

"You try to stand firmly by your principles."- They wouldn't be principles if you didn't try to stand by them

"You find it difficult to talk about your feelings."- With whom?

"You often think about humankind and its destiny."- Who doesn't?

I scored Introverted 89, Sensing 1, Thinking 38, Judging 22.

How can I be 1% sensing? Hell, what is the percentage supposed to be anyway?

The discription it gave me was laughably inaccurate. Organized? Everywhere I go, I leave a mess. I rarely am able to keep to a schedule and I hardly "hold dear to family social ceremonies"

INFJ

Introverted - 67%
Intuitive - 50%
Feeling - 25%
Judging - 33%

The Protector... Yeah, that sounds about right given what I've heard from others and what I generally think of myself. I've been called out numerous times for being able to divine things about pretty much anything (even subjects I'm not expressly familiar with) from thin air and making strange connections that become clearer in the light of hindsight or closer examination.

I'm an INFJ here, and I am not surprised at all to see a large number of INTJs here, what with the very rational-thinking, logic-is-everything-all-else-is-nothing userbase of the Escapist. Not saying that's necessarily a bad thing, but not surprising.

I got INTP, it kind of describes me, but only when I'm in a certain mood and I have some serious mood swings...

Don't rely on these online tests. You'll be mistyped most of the time. If you weren't mistyped don't take the results seriously either way because you'll lock yourself in what is called MBTI trap (defining yourself only through your type because you think it's cool). I've done a real test in university 3 years ago. Turns out I'm an INTJ. I think most gamers will fit in these 4 types: ISTJ, INTJ, ISTP, INTP. All introverts. Before you start criticizing, I said MOST gamers, not ALL OF THEM! And the majority of PC gamers is of NT preference. Probably because of strategy and complex RPG games that exist only on PC.
