I'd prefer if people would just keep their fucking music to themselves. If I can feel the ground shaking twenty feet away, in a crowded parking lot, you are doing something very wrong.

True. Fortunately, I'm a shut-in so I don't have to deal with it most of the time. And the reason you don't hear Indie-rappers is because they sound different and have something to say (meaning you're not meant to 'dance' to it).

Photograph is perhaps the worst song I've ever heard. They couldn't even be bothered to make shit rhyme for the most part. "Hmmmmm, this word sorta sounds like this word ... ah, fuck it. Just sing it at a horrible pitch and no one will care." Look - NOT EVER STANZA HAS TO RHYME FFS.

The vocals? A teenager could sing it, and it would sound slightly better.. Because it would becoming of one to say it..

I hate R&B music with a passion. The singers' voices are always so whiny-sounding. There are a few people in particular, but I've forgotten their names and I really don't want to go look them up.

I also don't understand why my BFF likes Disturbed so much. I like a couple of their songs, but the majority of them sound exactly alike.

I agree with most of what's been said here, but I would like to add Kiss and Steve Miller to the list for being considered "Classic" despite having no musical talent and a collection of some of the most generic, derivative songs ever written.
Edit: Also Avenged Sevenfold, although this is mostly because 50% of the people I've met who listen to them are middle schoolers who want to seem edgy, while the remaining 50% are douchebags who seem to have an entire wardrobe of Avenged Sevenfold paraphernalia.

Oh, geez, I read an article about them in Revolver a little while ago and without even listening to them I can say that I hate them. They interviewed the band and they just sound like jackasses - one of them was like "I used to hack bank accounts to be able to pay for studio time, lolzorz!!1!" .... ugh...

EDIT: I just went on their myspace page and listened to a couple songs... yep, they're shit. They're like an even more terrible Linkin Park (I didn't think that was possible, but there ya go).

I enjoy a wide range of music, and I cannot with assurance say I hate a band. Perhaps dislike, and even then it'd be one song, or an album.

I can say, that I [i\]really[/i] dislike Saving Abel, Creed, Nickelback, and some other stupid band that got damn close to being on my hate list.

The others at least some good songs.

And why does everyone hate My Chemical Romance? Sure, I didn't think most of their earlier stuff was all [i\]that[/i] great, but the Black Parade was well done.

Is it the lead singer's voice? Is it something in the guitars or drums? Or is it the subject of their songs?

It's all those things and so, so much more, just their general attitude is enough to make me want to rip bits of my own body off, maybe it's something that runs deeper, I hate the Emo scene all together really, I just feel like they're wanna - be metal, and I love real metal, so pretenders piss me off [/rant]
