What Popular Bands Do You Just Hate

I actually don't mind the music, but "The World's Wealth must be shared" says Bono in a faked Irish accent, as he steps off a private plane into a seperate limo to go and meet the queen. What a royal dickhead (Did you see what I did there?)

Is this a "popular bands you hate" thread and not a "popular vocalists/lead players in popular bands you hate" one?

Also, why all the hate towards U2? Okay, so most of their songs were good pre-2000, but that's like hating Blizzard because someone doesn't like WoW. Or Valve because someone thought Half Life was better than the sequel.

I hate all of the band U2. They all pretend to care about the planet while squandering there money like the spoiled brats they are.

Also- I don't hate there music. The thread isn't about hating a band's music particularly, and I don't hate U2's MUSIC. I hate the people in the band.

But Valve is, and always has been innovative and holds itself to the highest standards. We all end up hating U2 because we discover that Bono is and always has been, a complete douche-nozzle. Admittedly he's a smart guy, using the 'public currency' of his icon status to bring help to the world, but it all ends up in the same stew as corporate PR tactics and we all see how in the end U2 was mostly about inflating Bono's ego. Fuck 'em.

Same. being a 13 (14 in 8 days) male all the girls in my class will not be quiet about them. "Joe is soooo hot" and "Nick is the cutest" just start to grind your gears after the first million times.

Rap music (especially 50 Cent), The Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Radihead (Creep was great though), Britney Spears (my 14 year old sister won't ever shut up about her, she keeps trying to get me to listen to some new song of hers called "Circus." She sounds worse than ever.), Buckcherry (Every girl I know, with the exception of one of my ex-girlfriends, has had "Crazy *****" as their ringtone at some point, despite how misogynistic it is.), and most country music ("There's a tear in my beer cuz' I'm crying for you dear." Bleah.)
