CoD, because its tedious, frustrating, and boring.
Halo series, because the story is better explained by Ted, the pebble.
final fantasy series, i have a strong distrust for anything that manages to survive for almost 20 games under its title, spin off or not.

Everything that Valve has ever touched, looked at or thought about is drenched in a stinking slime of failure.

Half-Life, Portal, TF2, Left 4 Dead 1-2, Alien Storm... I hate every last one of them.

Starcraft 2, at this point the largely unchanged gameplay feels dull, slow, repetitive, and overall just outdated

Why do these threads exist?

The only thing these threads accomplish isbring hatred between people who don't share the same opinions

Speaking of which...

Need I say it?

The Half Life series.

So over hyped, I expected to be blown away. Needless to say, I was not. Tedious gameplay, with horrible vehicle parts, with annoying characters.

While it was probably groundbraking at its time, it was just a generic fps to me.

For me it has to be assassins creed 2. I just didn't like it. Or Transformers war for cybertron, or mario galaxly 2 for that matter. Whats your opinion?
those ere actually all of the games i was going to say. do you like ac1 though? i thought ac2 sucked but ac1 was good.
Yeah, the first one was more original. And, i may regret saying this, i prefer Altair to Ezio...
i totally agree. ac2 i think was actually way to easy and i know it was infinately less realistic and historically accurate.

Half life. I played all the games but frankly I found the whole experience rather boring. I don't get why people love it so much.
Call of duty is next. I played call of duty 2 which was fun nothing great. I played modern warfare after that and stopped playing it after a few days. Last cod I bought the rest look incredibly boring and copy and pasted game play.

Half-Life 2. Yeah I went there. Even back when it came out I thought the ragdoll physics were stupid, and the AI is a big joke. The story didn't catch my interest and the constant zombie headcrab sections eventually just ruined the game for me. I quit playing after the bridge missions.

CoD and FFVII.
CoD because... blech
And FFVII because it is vastly overrated in my opinion, I've put it as the third worst FF games (The worst is FFX-2 and the second worst is FFXII).
@FF not really , yes and yes. Though I agree that FF7 is overrated and that FF6 is probably the best.

I would have to go with CoD , still can't believe that the newest has been nominated for game of the year

Sonic 2. The level designs suck ass, the soundtrack is god awful.

Half-Life. Why doesn't Gorden Freeman talk? Valve are so lazy not finding a voice actor worthy of being the protagonist. Also headcrabs are uninventive and gay. The gameplay is bland and repetitive. Also those puzzles are boring.

Speaking of Valve, what is with Portal? You only get one gun and it doesn't work properly.

Oh also System Shock 2 sucks balls. Why does everyone seem to like that game? Bioshock 2 is waaaay better!
10/10 would rage again, your either a troll or so very stupid.

I don't hate KotOR or the Sands of Time trilogy, I just experienced newer, similar gameplay and can't go back to what I see as their clunky and unrefined gameplay. I played Fallout 3, KotOR combat is just VATS mixed with turn based combat and has some really rough edges. I played Mirrors Edge, which was much more fluid than the stodgy mess I found while trying to play PoP.

I can't manage to play that much of Mass Effect, but I really want to. Every time I play, I end up just getting bored... but I keep trying because I've heard Mass Effect 2 is a lot better.
If you would consider it, read up on the Mass Effect wiki about 1's plot then buy and play 2. Three weeks ago I finally gave in and bought the first Mass Effect (was wary after my expereince with KotOR). I finished ME2 this morning, and man what a fun three weeks it has been. ME2 takes on board the criticisms of ME1, chops away the excess weight, adds some awesome new ideas and improves the overall experience significantly. Mass Effect 2 has definitely jumped right into my top 3 games, and ME1 has respectably finished somewhere in the top 10.

The thing is, I like the idea of the sequel using your actions from the first game and porting them into the sequel... it's kind of why I haven't bought the first game yet.

halo, the story is convoluted at best and the multilayer is full of fags, not a great series to be honest.
