What qualitys do you like about a girl/boy?

I kind of realised after my last post that I haven't really contributed to this thread apart from nice eyes and being cute XD

So, all the usual:

Intelligence, sense of humour similar to my own, common ground on points of view and music taste etc. A little difference keeps things interesting but without common ground you're screwed from the word go. Also, no intimidated by my height, I'm 6'3'' and bulky, I tend to scare people away, although I'm surprisingly shy for someone bigger than everyone else. A gamer is obviously a big plus although it's not necessary so long as she doesn't mind me gaming.

She must have a good personality, and definitely a good sense of humor. It also is a big plus if she "gets" my rather dry, sarcastic jokes. She must be moderately good looking, and not emo/gothic. Common interests is a plus.

A female else who considers themselves to be socially asexual because she can't be doing with all that flirting and the like. Somebody else who's a social outcast and doesn't particularly care. Somebody else who feels slightly... inhuman, I think that best describes it.

Somebody who's willing to put up with me as a whole, that is to say, doesn't mind that I trip over my own tongue, will ramble about nothing and likes my sense of humour. I think I'm a wit, but in fact I'm only half of one. Also someone I feel I can protect/help, not quite sure why that's in my psyche, but there you go. Also, somebody who loves all the twisted convoluted sides to my personality.

I'm determined not to say "Large breasts".

I haven't found anyone like this yet, but then again I've never been out with anyone. Evidently, I think about this way too much...

I know we're all supposed to say looks aren't important, but to me they are! Now I'm not saying she/he has to be able to make the cover of a fashion mag or anything like that, I'm just saying sexual attraction means a lot to me in a relationship. Then again love is blind as they say (I don't know who says it, but I'm sure the mythical "they" do, incidentally these are the probably the same "they" that make movies, add new content to just about everything and start rumours. IRRELEVANT!), so once you really start developing strong feelings for someone the attraction will often come along with it.

Over all I really look for one thing in a prospective mate, and that's charisma. Other than that I've learned that no matter what i think i look for in people, i'm probably wrong as i end up meeting the "perfect girl" and feel nothing except friendship, and then go out with the one person who is the complete polar opposite of me. All that i really know is i don't know what I want but i know that I want it when I see it.

The question is so vague. I measure how cute girls are on a point system from 1 to 10. The initial points given are based off of looks (I'm a guy, dont judge me!). Then from there we add or take away based on certain things. For example a girl with green eyes or who can play Halo well, will get bumped up a point based solely that I like that. It also works inversely, so that if they are dumb or are extraordinarily needy, they will lose a point. Every girl is different and they all have things about them that is awesome. Their are other factors to take into consideration but that takes time and experience. But in regards to approaching a girl, just do it. Whats the worst that can happen? She says no? There are lots of girls in this world. You have to go out and get to know as many as you can in order to find out what you like because in the end, the question of what you like about girl or boy, is based solely on your own preferences. As a side note, go and pick up, "The Game" by Neil Strauss. It changed my life in regards to how to talk to women.

- I tend to go for slimmer people
- I hate freckles

and since i'm replying to that...the traits i look for in a guy are: taller (not super tall cause i'm only 5'1''), blonde curly hair, brown eyes, athletic, musician, funny, nerdy, can put up with all of my crap, sweet, southern, gentleman...
