Yeah I normally get stuck as medic too, although in TF2 I was more of an engineer most of the time and in MAG beta I was a medic but it's way too annoying in that game because when 1 of the 30-something members of you're platoon dies you normally gotta run all the way from the other side of the BIG map just to watch them bleedout when you're 5 feet away from them, it's just frustrating!

Usually Sniper support, I stay back in cover and blast from afar, leg it out when someone needs reviving. (gears2). L4D I usually took the frontline and needed reviving the most...especially when a Tank came a charging, I'd let it hit me and shotgun it in the face.

Depends on how long I've played the game. Usually, for example in L4D2, I play somewhat of a support/leader role. I'm usually either in front or in the back. I'm the guy who picks the sniper and keeps saving your ass before the smoker/jockey starts pounding/clawing on your head.

You could say I'm the ace man, the jack of all trades. I can pretty much fill any role that is left unfulfilled when the rest of the team decides to do exactly the same thing (namely, scout rushes that always end up failing because a well placed sentry gun laughably guns them all down). I ensure the team has all the basic needs covered, really. Except when playing Halo, in which case, I'm the driver, because I'm provenly the single one person who can drive in that game...

...You'd think my friends would have learnt to drive by now, but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! THEY ALWAYS HAVE TO RUN ME OVER WHEN THEY WANT ME TO HOP ONTO THE MACHINE GUN!

Always Medic except in TF2, its too pacifist.
The Medic is a syringe spouting, saw-hacking, walking machine-o-doom that regenerates health and only needs an excuse to start looking for his heavy pal. AND YOU CALL THAT A PACIFIST?!

I will hunt you down. And the term doctor assisted homicide will gain a whole new level of undrstanding.

I'm a mix of sniper and stealth infiltration. I rarely get caught by an enemy player on MGO thanks to boxes. :p

I sort of alternate between badass berserker (not putting the team at risk though) and the medic/support guy.

My role is more a kind of type cast shaming. I kind of get stuck being told what to do by the guy who goes in first. Invariably I watch the groups back and am not trusted with high explosives unless told to release them. Mostly it is kind of my own fault with my somewhat spazzy playing and less than heroic abilities.

Call me "Rear guard that isn't trusted without supervision".

Im usualy a guy who likes to get a drop on the enemies by circling them and taking as them out at a better angle. Unless i get bored or am the last one standing and know Im gonna lose, then I just try to take as many out as I possibly can however I can. Interestingly, thats similar to how I play paintball.

I don't play well with a team, so I usually just go for FFAs. There is the odd occasion where I feel like playing a TDM in which case I will usually charge in and shoot everything on sight. I don't have the patience to be tactical anymore it seems.

I'm usually just the silent guy who doesn't go with the teams tactics/plan and doesn't say much but does most of the work on the team whether it's capping a flag/base or just plain killing.

Point man normally. Usually go for a fairly accurate gun, rate of fire not too important. Either that or a shotgun, in CoD I use the knife more than anything

I am usually the person who goes attacks the most. Like in Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 I get the most kills when I am on a team or in WoW I have DPS talents for my Human Death Knight and Blood Elf Paladin.

I like attacking more than defending and it is easier for me than trying to be a medic or protect others.

Target practice for the enemy, or team if some dickwad is into that. I do net some kills as well though. I'm stronger on free for all

MW .... I like silenced uzi ... which is kinda similar to the roles I had in Battlefield 2142. Guy who spends his time traversing the entire map avoiding most of the rushers and tank-nuts and taking out the campers :x

To me ... having a better K:D ratio is more important than having the most kills :3 and campers never see it coming either so it's easy.

What's the point (in a deathmatch game anyways) if you're giving away most of the points you earn to the otherside?
