Sneaky support/sniper guy, you know the type. On Borderlands I have a level 50 Hunter and Siren and on MW2 I'm the guy with Cold Blooded Pro shooting down your precious air support.

I'm the guy running around in circles saying where are you guys? I think I'm lost! I don't play those games much and when I do I'm always the newb who occassionally pulls off a miracle shot then fades back into obscurity. Then i log out and go do something else for a while

In COD: MW I'm the sniper: give me a building with a nice view and some cover and I'm set.
(Untill my bullets run out, in which case I take out my Deagle and rush to the enemies base)
I also enjoy being stealthy and flanking.

In TF2: I'm the all-rounder: I switch classes to what's most needed at the time.

RPG's: The rogue or any similar character.

In Borderlands at the moment I've resumed my role as the Hunter, giving sniper support. But in games like MW2, I play the part of the grunt, typically run in and shoot or get shot

Regardless of what game it is, I always take up the role of Healer, for three very good reasons.

a) It saves me and my friends from having to try and find one.
b) It's probably the type of class I play best.
c) I'm pretty damn good at it, and to be perfectly honest, I don't like trusting random people I don't know. I'd rather do it myself.

I'm the planner. This may sound arrogant, but it isn't. I happen to be an expert tactician. Thanks to the military training I had in the RAF Cadets (well, a similar group) at school, I have pretty good skills in various military aspects, that plus my love of RTSs makes me a great tactician. And so I always end up planning a full battle plan and then taking an active role, usually regarding stealth or sniper work.

Now, here's where it might start to sound arrogant (though it isn't). Every time I come up with a plan for a game, and my teammates follow the plan, we end up winning. Every time they ignore me and do their own thing, we end up losing. Coincidence? I doubt it. Sadly I haven't played TF2 as I'm still waiting to get the Orange Box on PC (when I can afford it). At least there, people realise the value of teamwork and a good battle strategy...

I tend to become the rogue-type: I hang back, pick off foes who have been seperated, yet at the same time can survive long enough to get to support if I'm under fire.

I'm the kind of guy that will get to a choke point, then start flailing around with a machine gun when the enemy gets near.

Halo 3: I have a friend who is a great warthog driver (Rather than some of the people that try to run over the guy with a missile pod -.-), so I get to gun, and apparently I'm good at that to, and together we can kick a fair bit of ass.

MW2: I generally go around as a 'knifer', which is basicaly a tactical knife, a throwing knife, marathon, lightweight and commando; So I basicaly run around at 100mph, killing off campers and whoever gets in my way before they know what the fuck.

Anything with a medium to long range gun (Assault rifles) stay back to pick people off, when bored sneak around the back of an enemy and take out their team

I more often than not find myself playing as a medic or a rifleman. However when I'm playing more realism based games (for example Armed Assault or the BF2 MOD project reality) I find myself taking the role of squad leader or a driver of some sort of light support vehicle, e.g. a Hummve or IFV, more oftern than not.
