I'm the guy that runs a round with a rifle/smg and just shoots anything that doesn't look like me XDSir Kemper said:My first time posting a topic, so don't be too harsh if I mess up, alright?
So escapists, recently I've noticed something interesting. Whenever I play TF2 I generally end up playing a Medic in order to keep the team from consantly turning into a pile of BLU mush. Whenever i play L4D2 i always just happen to have the last med-kit or bottle of pills. Even when i play something as simple as COD5: Zombies i always end up haveing to revive the rest of the team becuase they thought holding that grenade was a super plan.
Seeing a pattern? In almost every team-based game I play I'm useually some sort of Medic, An important role but sadly one that often goes without thanks.
Anyway my question for you today escapists is what role do you generally play when on a team? Are you a Medic like me? Are you a Sniper? The only one who can actually use the rockets and grenade effectivly? Please share.
More often than not I find myself rescuing teammates or getting tons of assists in MW2. Also lots of deaths because nobody covers MY back.MetalGenocide said:Overspecialization leads to weakness. So, I try to adapt to the situation.
But prefer mostly support role(s), the rest of my team usually fills in for "tanking", "decoy", "running-around-mindlessly-waiting-to-get-killed" and someone always needs to save their asses.
Damn, now the ninjas are stealing my online life too.EspirituExterminatus said:Loner. I tend to either range ahead and thin the path a bit and report back any serious threats or I hang back to provide sniper support for when they are getting slammed. Especially in fortification stages. I always find a nice high spot and just rain death on anyone who enters my crosshairs.
