Im kinda a defensive Player. engineering, healing, or protecting those with a heavy offensive role. At least in 90% of games i play.

Mainly I play support classes or roles or generally piss other team off with area denial as while I suck at playing an assault class nowadays as lack the reflexes. But give me a exposed flank, a sniper rifle or in tf the engy class will make them lose a hell of a lot of ground in a matter of seconds.

My first time posting a topic, so don't be too harsh if I mess up, alright?

So escapists, recently I've noticed something interesting. Whenever I play TF2 I generally end up playing a Medic in order to keep the team from consantly turning into a pile of BLU mush. Whenever i play L4D2 i always just happen to have the last med-kit or bottle of pills. Even when i play something as simple as COD5: Zombies i always end up haveing to revive the rest of the team becuase they thought holding that grenade was a super plan.

Seeing a pattern? In almost every team-based game I play I'm useually some sort of Medic, An important role but sadly one that often goes without thanks.

Anyway my question for you today escapists is what role do you generally play when on a team? Are you a Medic like me? Are you a Sniper? The only one who can actually use the rockets and grenade effectivly? Please share.
I'm the guy that runs a round with a rifle/smg and just shoots anything that doesn't look like me XD

Overspecialization leads to weakness. So, I try to adapt to the situation.
But prefer mostly support role(s), the rest of my team usually fills in for "tanking", "decoy", "running-around-mindlessly-waiting-to-get-killed" and someone always needs to save their asses.

I always go for the stealth/ambush class, regardless of how good they are (or how good I am at playing them). If I'm getting repeatedly killed without killing anyone in return, I go Medic. If at first you don't succeed, try something else. No sense being a damn fool about it.

I've been playing the modern warfare games for a while now and no matter what I try to do differently I always end up sneaking around and flanking. Mostly because all my team mates rush off en masse to the largest kill-zones, presumably because they enjoy catching bullets and noob-tubes as quickly as possible and preferably all at once. There's very little teamwork no matter what game mode I try, and any time there's a clan that's even vaguely organised, they're on the other side and they wreck house. I'm hoping MAG lives up to it's hype about being more organised and tactical, but from the reviews I've read about the beta it's just another cluster-fuck, albeit a much larger one.

More often than not I find myself rescuing teammates or getting tons of assists in MW2. Also lots of deaths because nobody covers MY back.

Loner. I tend to either range ahead and thin the path a bit and report back any serious threats or I hang back to provide sniper support for when they are getting slammed. Especially in fortification stages. I always find a nice high spot and just rain death on anyone who enters my crosshairs.
Damn, now the ninjas are stealing my online life too.

I'm a sniper, I save my teammates from being shot in the face from an enemy out of their view and tick another mark on the side of my rifle.

Depends on the mood I in that day. Most of the time I just run n' gun, others I'll be that annoying-ass sniper that can pull off a head shot from across the map while you're running with marathon and lightweight, and sometimes I'll be a spotter and alert others to the locations the enemy team.

I normally end up in the sniper role of the team. It's mostly because I play with a bunch of big headed jerks who think charging into the mash of enemies and hoping your health lasts is the best stratagy.

I'm the Tatics man, I'm th eone always with the map screen, a laptop with hints or youtube vidos and UAV's telling the rest of my team/squad on where to go, hide, attack and defend. So I"m the "smartone" on my team. But if not I"m always on support fixing or healing things.
