Surprising amount of spider fears on this thread. Well, now I know bet how to terrorize the Escapist Community.

I hate your existence. That is all.

Well if I was freaking you out all you had to do was say. Jeez. Don't have to be a dick about it.
[sub][sub]I only wanted a little bit of blood, gawd![/sub][/sub]

OT: Fucking bugs man! In fact, anything that creeps and/or crawls.
Hey, don't get angry at me! I had to Google "Creepy bugs" to get that stuff. I'm doing a service.
What the hell is that thing in the second image? It doesn't appear real.

I don't care if it is the monster of the moment, Zombies have always thrilled and terrified me. Alone in a world where everyone else is dead and chasing you for your flesh. One slip and you're dead and all your friends and family must be slain or you too will die...

It's terrifying and I love thinking about it.

That people still think it's clever to post "First" on things, like it matters in any way.

Also, being given responsibility for looking after children. Seriously, there's things I'm good at and things I suck at, but being asked to look after children would be down on one of my most horrendous things that might happen.

Unlike most people, I really do like spiders. Because FUCK FLIES!!

Spiders, mosquitoes, and bees.
Bees are the worst. I nearly had a panic attack when there were 3 bees just flying around our food at a restaurant.

Darkness.

No sound, not even of your own heartbeat.

Nothing. Just absolute silence and darkness.

THAT and heights. I'm afraid of falling.

But back to the darkness.

The Redcoat. He- it- is my own personal monster that continuously shows up in my nightmares.(almost every night). Really all I have been afraid of for the past few weeks.

There is actually only one thing that scares me, and that is being stuck in open water with no reference of anything. That absolutely terrifies me.

I have no fears for my personal safety of any sort, with the one exception of a mild fear of high-powered radiation.
It's not an irrational fear. That shit causes the equivalent of super AIDS and super cancer, and it's like the power of god in how hard it is to stop or slow down.

My real fears are for my loved ones. Their happiness. Their safety. Their health.

Water that's too deep or murky to.....son of a *****, the guy above me said the exact same thing.

Not fond of unstable high places. The actual height only bothers me a little, it's the structural integrity, or lack thereof, of the thing I'm standing on. For example, I have stood at the edge of a cliff so steep, if I had done a standing broad jump off the edge, I would have fallen 600 feet or more before striking. That was small potatoes, barely a blip on the phobometer. On the other hand, I had to use a rickety eight foot stepladder for four hours yesterday. By the end, I was clinging with the grim, gray-faced ferocity of a shipwreck victim.

Bugs on my skin, especially unidentified bugs on the back of my neck. Mosquitoes and such don't bother me, but when something unknown buzzes into my hair, my hand becomes a blur of motion. I dislike the thought of being food for anything, even if I survive it.

Social situations with strangers. I am conversationally retarded, drink *very* lightly, and have a deep dislike for drunk people and popular music. Socializing means conversation, consumption, dealing with others who consume, and lots of shitty music. It's a smorgasbord of discomfort.

Wasps, just Wasps there hasn't been a Wasp yet that has flown through my window and made it out alive.

Also I've recently become really worried/afraid of my stuff being stolen. Everytime I travel somewhere on a bus or train, I would open my bag every five minutes just to check if everything is still there. Although I think that's just me being paranoid.

Murky water is creepy stuff indeed. Whenever i swim somewhere where the water is so murky that i can`t see very well at all, i freak out quite a bit. Also, wasps, bees, everything yellow-black-ish that buzzes and flies around.

And one really weird one that i don`t fully understand myself: really pointy, sharp things touching the very point of my fingers. I mean, if i think about it in a logical way, it`s silly, nothing creepy or frightening. But once, i went to donate some blood, and before that, they needed to check my blood-type and some other stuff, by taking some blood from my finger. I mean, it didn`t hurt at all... but i almost fainted. The wait, oh god, i just sat there, and saw how the pointy thingy was taken out of the plastic, and how they cleaned my fingertip with some sort of liquid.... and the needle was slowly coming closer and closer to the tip of my finger....oh god. I get dizzy and sick even thinking about such things, hell, i can`t even write it all out since it`s just ...horrible. I instinctively put my hands in fists even when writing this, just cause I´m imagining it. I really don`t understand why i fear such a silly thing, but it`s damn terrifying. And worst of all, they didn`t let me donate any blood, even tho I´m more or less cool with taking blood from the midsection-part of my arm. But the very tip of my fingers... Oh god, no. NO!
