well considering the moon was formed by a collision between us and mars which gave us an axis/seasons days and nights and the debri from the collision formed the moon and probably set us back 10M years and if we blu up the moon we will be plumited with rocks and if a chunk biger than 10 miles hit us we are skrewed a ring is just impossibe because our gravity is too strong and we are a solid planet not a gas planet we will become infested with craters as the ring would just be depleted into us. and if we did blow up the moon a bomb big enough to actuly blow it up would probably vaporise the moon and plumit us with radiation unless is we some how survive we would be with out a moon.
