The old former-rocker who hangs around a local coffee shop, talks about and recommends some of the old bands I listened to, and tell stories about how the scene was back when I was around and the kind of shit we'd do.
Basically a stereotypical old man. But with punk and metal subbed out for rockabilly and jazz.

I'll be the scary old man that lives in an apartement with completely closed up windows and never leaves the house.
Iep, I'm already that guy!

When I am old I will wear purple
With a red hat that doesn't go
and doesn't suit me
And something something something spit in the street... I forget, but it's an awesome poem.

I have every intention of being the old guy who refuses to accept their age. The sort of person who goes on a post-retirement gap year.

Crazy cat lady who bakes cookies for the children and they never eat it because they're afraid of my kitchen because of all the cats. Even though my cookies are delicious.

Fuckin ay. That's twice as aged as I want to get.
Yup same here, hey wanna go on a suicidal rampage together when we reach 50!?
No.
Fine,I guess I'll have to buy the grenade launchers myself...

So yeah,if I don't die before I become old,I'll probably be one of those crazy government guys, you know the ones that think the world is out to kill them.

OT: probably the kind who isnt crazy. or physically old. i plan on my body staying at 30 until i die. that gives science a deadline of 14 years to work on that and give me any treatments/drugs.
which in itself is crazy...
Not as crazy as you think, scientists have already discovered the cause for aging(look up telomeres), so it's reasonable to assume genetic engineering will make aging a non-issue(though diseases will still be a problem, but with the body and immune system of a 20-30 year old, those aren't as huge problems as they would be to people who are 70-90).

Either Crazy Cat Lady (that's a popular one, it seems), or super-clutter-house, living between semi-neat stacks of old games and anime and whatnot. There will be a tiny handful of young folk who actually like the older material in those groups, waiting for me to die so they can raid my collection.

I'm gunna be the old guy that says the most off colour inappropriate things just to see my teenage grandchildren smile and my adult children scoff. I'm afraid if I mature too much then I'll become that boring old guy no one ever wants to visit. But my 20 year old self would love to be the comical old guy.

One of those lecherous old men who is at the same time hopefully lost in his hobbies and surrounded by dozens of cats, each part of a slowly unfolding and intricate feline genealogy within the house that only I know the secrets to.
That has a touch of genius about it

The kind that bitches and moans about the "good old days".

Back in my day petrol used to cost only 80c a liter, then one day it reached a dollar 30 a liter. Now the shit cost 3 dollars plus! I remember when i could go down to the store and hand over 5 dollars 50 for 2 600ml iced coffee cartons!

Yeah, something like that.

I think I may become the "crazy old book guy" because of the hellish invention of the e-book (grrr) I may begin hoarding proper books as an attempt to save them from kindle-based extinction, and start shouting at people using e-book readers that "those new fangled pieced of crap just don't smell the same".
Tee hee, I'm with you on that one! I don't know why, but I want to read books as they are. Don't like the idea of a hand held device. I don't care if you can store thousands of books on it, I don't care one bit. I have never had the need to carry a library with me on holidays anyway. I like my books (apparently) the old fashioned way.

I can see myself becoming an old grumpy woman. Who complains about things other people don't care about. I stare at young people and resent them for what they are. Something I used to be.
