Douche-baggy. Seriously, all I think about when I hear "Britain" is a country that likes to grab as much land as possible and then treat the people who live there like dirt.
Ahhhh! back in the good old days where we had the colonies...now known as India and Australia hehehehe

And normally we are very polite :)

Normally. But when the British get mad ... yeah, they get mad.

Being Scottish, I usually pick on Brits who look down on Scotts.

I think a lot of these things associated with "British" could probably be better defined as "English".

You won't see the Scottish, Irish or Welsh stereotypically sitting down with tea, crumpets, scones, bowler hats or bad teeth. You'd see them with something else - eg. kilts, Guinness and sheep (respectively).

Some people tend to forget that there's more to Britain than just England =/
Yeah, that makes me roll my eyes yet more at the state of humanity.

Stereotypes I've had used on me are tea, crumpets, haggis, heavy drinking, wearing a "skirt" and my old favourite... "if we hadn't joined the war you would be nazis"

And I remembered the ultimate question I was asked on XBL: "You're from Scotland?....What states that in??"

EDIT: Also bad teeth is used on me alot too... which is an english stereotype so I don't get it

Tea and the Dambuster's Theme spring instantly to mind.

And pilot caps, and people in pilot caps singing the Dambuster's Theme while drinking tea

[small]I want a pilot's cap...[/small]

In a lot of movies and games if there is only one guy with a British accent there is a good chance he is the bad guy.
All British villains are the best though.

A lot of my friends think you guys have bad teeth.
When I think of Britain I think about V for Vendetta and Big Ben being blown to a million pieces to Tchaikovskys 1812 Overture.

I said Britain in the title and I meant Britain so I would welcome comments on the Scots and the Welsh. People simply have decided to post comments about us English but again any comments on the others are welcome.

That sounds like the best thought of Britain on the list yet. And nobody has mentioned Steven Fry yet. I know he's so niche that not many people will think of him but I will!

There are a wide range of sterotypes depending on what area, the North are drunken football yobs, the south are arrogant and a bunch of pansies and so on.
