lol Yes. I don't mind the whole idea of being sick and fighting it, or whatever, but it sure doesn't make for a good "mixing up" of things in the game, since you can be in the middle of a firefight, want to heal yourself, when suddenly, you get a malaria attack and find that you're pulling out pills for your fix rather than pulling a bullet out of your leg.

Which usually results in death and a buddy rescue.

Bethesda, for taking a dump all over Oblivion and screwing up what should have been an epic follow-up to Morrowind. So let's take out all the things that made Morrowind great, such as awesome fast travel, all types of ranged weapons, a highly unique and intellectually stimulating fictional backdrop, awesome art design, and a sense of actual progress. And let's go ahead and replace those with, respectively, a boringly generic fast travel system, boring bows, a generic medieval setting, dull and uninspired although technically stunning architecture and scenery, and ridiculous critter/NPC levelling. And on top of that, taking out the most awesome spells from Morrowind i.e. Levitate, Jump/Slow Fall, Mark/Recall, Interventions, and making the mod community do your work for you.

At least Fallout 3 was good.

I think you missed the part where he said they traded the traditional gothic artwork for (generic) anime. Because they did. The art style changed drastically, as well as the story itself. Granted, if you look at the original Castlevania, the art style leaned more towards Conan the Barbarian. Simon Belmont looked like He-Man. I'm not sure where you're getting the 'it was always anime!' thing.
Perhaps Thiaus thinks the series started out on the DS :)

Why, in Earthbound Zero...

1.) ...is there an encounter every five steps?

2.) ...is there four different types of identical healing spell?

3.) ...does Loid start at level 1 at about 45 minutes into the game?

4.) ...does Ana start at level 1 at about 75 minutes into the game?

5.) ...are Ana and Loid rubbish?

6.) ...does increasing/decreasing your/the enemy's offense/defence not do anything?

7.) ...is there an encounter every five steps?

8.) ...is the hosptial so frakkin' expensive and is the only cure for a cold until you get to Snowman?

9.) YUCCA DESERT, DUNCAN'S FACTORY, YOUNGTOWN SWAMP, MT ITOI.

There's also the fact it was never released, which is a bit of a bad design decision.

Really? I went through on hardcore with an Infiltrator. It wasn't hard. My friend went through hardcore with a pure Biotic.
