I just finished Brotherhood and i feel like it didnt go far enough in terms of advancement, so here's what i think they should do for the next one:

- they should introduce a new protagonist, instead of or alongside Desmond, which would help incorporate a Co-op mode into the game.
- new parkour techniques could easily be put in place, if only to allow easier travel through the city, things like vaulting things like chimneys.
- more assassination techniques as well, the ability to assassinate somebody while in a busy crowd would be good, as would things like "deniable" assassinations, throwing people off bridges or towers, rather than just stabbing them.
- better usage of the brotherhood, there is a lot of ways this could be improved, but its a new feature, so i doubt they wouldnt work on it in the next game.
- lastly, a more customizable character would be nice, i know its not exactly the most practical thing, but its possible.

so thats what i think, what about you?

They need to make it less linear, give us side missions instead of go here, then there, then assassination, then here.

Yea you make some good points there. I too just completed the storyline about an hour ago, and i felt the story needs abit of work. The whole desmond thing should have more meaning to it, as the only meaningful thing he does in the games is always at the end when he discovers some secret thing. Also, free running should be more fluid and managable, with more techniques. Lastly i'd say more variation in online play. I abolutly love it and im addicted to it so much i couldnt properly do the story line without flipping back to online, but i can see it getting boring very quickly. More variation would be nice and keep it fresh.

Lol in terms of side missions its one of the best games ive ever played. What could be improved is rewards for doing the 1000 side missions avaible.

Well, in terms of customization, using the Brotherhood thing, you could play as a member of the brotherhood, an initiate or new recruit or something.
I'm not sure that would make a good AC3, but it'd certainly have potential for another side game on the PSP.
Me personally, I want to see an end to Desmond's story arc, it's actually getting more interesting than Assassins' story arcs.

Real side missions Brotherhood's side missions were just assassinate this other guy. Can't they add like a deliever this bag of gold before the people kill the hostage.

You're an assassin, not a delivery boy. So no, they can't.

In AC1 some missions had you gathering flags, were you a capture the flag expert and assassin in that one?

They should just make it set in Desmond's time.

Seriously, I don't having him in the game if he's not going to do anything.

This is all they need to do, seriously.
I thought the improvements made in Brotherhood were great, and I doubt any more improvement is needed. The hole idea is you're supposed to be good with a sword, but not able to take on a whole army. So I like how you can take out a couple of guys in very quick succession, but taking on 5+ requires a lot more waiting for opportunities.

On a side note, I'd like to see more customization for the Brotherhood recruits. Say some have better weapons, but poor armor, or are good with a crossbow, but in close combat they are pretty bad. Instead of all of them possessing exactly the same skill set.

I'd love to see some alternation in the story between two different assassins. Playing through two drastically different emotional archetypes and combat systems would be so much fun.

I also think one of those characters should be a woman. Not just because I want to see that assassins cloak hugging a slender athletic female form, but because it would just add so much flavour and scope to Desmonds story. Not that Desmond should be "playing" as the woman mind you.

I'd also like to see a return to some older civilisations like Egypt or Greece. Imagine setting off arrow traps in an unfinished tomb to grease a pharoah, or killing him atop an unfinished pyramid, maybe even throwing him off after a brutal fistfight. Imagine trick floors in the minotaur maze to dispatch your targets?

The environments dont always have to be traditional towns either. Whats wrong with visiting a great big slave compound or a harbour and having to blend in with the kinds of people you would find there?

Personally, I really like walking around as Desmond and finding new interesting bits of secret spooky info. The ability to exit the animus at any time during AC1 really made you believe you were putting Desmond through a simulation machine.

I haven't finished the game yet, no where near it tbh but they need to fix the controls. I find them to be so buggy. I direct Ezio to go in one direction he either goes in the opposite direction or refuses to move at all, to which frantically mash buttons and something I didn't want to happen, happens...rage, this thing alone has sometimes cost me the 100% sync in some of the memories and me being the anal guy I am, I restart the memory so I can it.

They gotta stop forcing me to be stealthy,Do it like Splinter Cell:Conviction where getting spotted means it's slightly harder to complete mission instead of failure altogether.

And stop having me press 2 buttons at the same time to freerun!

Overall, I think they've done a great job with the Assassin's Creed storyline. Great storyline, they gave the side characters like Shaun and Rebecca more character development, and they deepened the story of Ezio, his family and even his love life. I really wanna see how the bloodline continued through Ezio, though (it's really been bothering me.) As for Desmond, I think your wrong about his development and actions in the story. He's learnig how to save the world on top of cracking Subject 16's cryptic messages and gaining knowledge about his assassin linage; he's very useful in the storyline. Plus, let's face it he's come a long from just stealing keycards and pens; they have him parkouring just like his ancestors before him. You really are able to feel the progression Desmond has gone through, throughout the games.

For Assassin's Creed Three I wanna play, chiefly, as Desmond; it's high time he trully put his abilities and destiny to the test(I wonder what weapons he'll get besides, the hidden blade). The enviroment is probably gonna be a combination of city and historical settings. I can really see Desmond climbing the Effifel Tower or the Empire State Building.

Also, they could probably do a side story about the Templars. It would make sense since Warrick is building up an army of Templars to combat Desmond.

They should crank up the overall mission difficulty. Assassins Creed 2 was way too easy in some parts.

No. They were side missions, and in addition to the hidden flags.
