I can't really quantify what exactly turns me on, but for the most part, medium to short skirts, tamed hair, lace.

Funny is a must. Same taste in music (alt rock, rock) is a plus. Cute and definitely not overly beautiful. Intelligent to the point where I can actually have a conversation with them without wanting to facepalm.
As for looks, I prefer brunettes, sort of tanned, but not completely, longish hair (shoulder length is the sweet spot) and skinny but not boney.
