Hehe.. looks like CoziestPigeon will play just about anything.

So you tankers--why tanks, of all things? I understand Apsham for his love of passive skills, but is that really it? I mean, do you also like it because of the connotation that is tied to the character (the tank usually being the group leader)? Or maybe it's because you're a softy who likes to protect the weak (and will always take the side quest to help out villagers and rescue kittens stuck up trees)?
Like when I said I love all things AoE, the specific reason is that I like to see things slamming into the ground, whether this be shells or magical shards. There's just something so satisfying with seeing massive amount of projectiles arching onto enemies. (Incidentally, all my Wanzers in Front Mission are equipped with Mortars and Bazookas, and never missiles).

The dark Magic type. Like Warlock or Summoner. Pretty much the Gothic magic user. Demons, diseases and darkness gives that little extra before killing somebody, like taking away all possible happiness or hope, leaving only depression, despair and hopelessness.

I like to be thorough :D

usually every time i play an rpg i go with the assasin, archer, rougue kinda combination where i can stay safely hidden fire arrows at people and get the hell out of there its also good as someone not being able to see you is obviously way better than a person locking you into mortal combat

I prefer arcane such as wizards or sorcerers, as it allows you to batter enemies with powerful blasts of fire, which serves the double purpose of a free cremation :) Plus who can forget the flare?

Warrior all the time. I prefer an easy pick up and play class that just throws you right into the action.

When I first play an RPG, I usually pick a basic brute warrior type build, since those are usually the simplest. Later on, I usually switch over to a more agile/stealthy type.

Definitely a melee masher tank character. There's nothing better then chopping down hoards of foes using only your blades of fury.

I generally go with a healer (at least in MMO's). They're not as abundant as the dmg classes, but everybody needs them. I was never hugely into WoW, and played WAR for a few months with limited interest, but I spent at least 2 years with FFXI and White Mages had no problems finding parties. Everything else, however, was hit or miss. I remember many a cold, lonely night sitting in the Yahtunga Jungle, waiting for someone to take pity on my little Taru Black Mage and throw an invite my way.

Rogue character. Use a dagger or bow to finish the job quickly and quietly. Plus we do it from behind.

I Usually play as some kind of bad as Battle mage or SpellSword. Though if it is a game like Oblivion were your all your skills gradually increase I can usually be good at anything, though I usually master the more brutal melee and brawling arts before the stealthy ones.

In any RPG with it available, I'd be a spellsword. They are extremely versatile and are also a good mix between offense and defense.

FTR Spellsword =/= Paladin
