My first game was a weird Macintosh game called Pyramid of the somethingorother (it's been a REALLY long time), and all I can remember was that it was a.) black and white and b.) SERIOUSLY addictive.

My first decent game was Final Fantasy VII.

My first EXCELLENT game was Phantasy Star IV. Wow, that game was awesome.

My first 'game I will play at least once a year from now until the day I die' game was Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana.

First computer game? ...Fuck. So long ago. I believe it may have been Pacman or a point and click adventure game. My father introduced me to them.

The first game I ever played would have to be super mario brothers. I would sneak into my brothers room and play his SNES until I got my own genesis in the early 90's.

It was either Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Duck Hunt, or the Mario game that was packaged with Duck Hunt for the NES. It was 1989 or 1990. 1990 is a bit more likely now that I think about it.

For me it's a tie between Super Mario Land and Link's Awakening. I remember back when the gameboy was a giant grey brick that needed 4 batteries for black and white graphics. Good times, good times.

I cannot recall specifically what the first game I played was. All I know is that it was either "Bouncing Babies", "Alley Cat" or "Castle". I suspect "Bouncing Babies" was the first as it was, by far, the easiest.

The first game I played on a console was Golf, for the NES. The first arcade game I ever played was almost certainly Pac-Man, but there remains the possibility that it was CABAL. The first true PC game I played was Falcon 3.0, followed quickly by Doom. The first game I played online was Duke Nukem 3D. The first MMO I played was Anarchy Online.

I'm told (My earliest memory is from when I was 3) that at 2 years old I was "playing" Mario Paint, but this is from my mum, who probably couldn't tell playing from breaking the controller. My earliest memory of playing a game was of Donkey Kong Country.

Why aren't there any current gen DKC games?

A game that came with our first video card called Incoming. And googling it I have just discovered that it has a sequel. *retro-gamer-gasm*
