What was the first current-gen game you bought?

Dead Rising, NFS Most wanted, Assassin's Creed and Halo 3. Bought these when I bought my 360 (Yeah, saved up for this).

Hmm. They tend to have racing games in the bundle. I wonder why?

My first PS3 game was MGS4, which was awesome. Despite everyone saying that it had turned into an action game.

Gears of War 1, although NFS:Carbon came with the console I bought. I played Gears first... on a crappy small SDTV, still blew me away though.

I bought a Wii just for Super Smash Bros in November when it was supposed to be released in December, but it was delayed (again) until June so...I think my first Wii game was Metroid Prime 3

Xbox wise I was a sheep and followed GTAIV and CoD4

Halo 3. Stupidly. I had a choice between that, Mass Effect and Gears of War when I got the 360. No idea why I chose the second most meatheaded one from the list. I have no interest whatsoever in multiplayer racialslurring either.. Odd choice.
