Wolfenstein 3D. I played it when I was 4 and oddly enough it was one of the earliest memories I still remember, since 4 was when I started remembering things I guess. It wasn't when it was first released, this was in 1994. I walked in on my mum playing her brand new copy of Doom II (I remember her zooming in the door of the house and immediately to the computer room. Hah, I love having a gamer mother.) and she was like "nooo you aren't old enough for this game" and threw me out of the room, but she figured that Wolfenstein wasn't nearly as bad as Doom and since I seemed interested in a shooter type game she let me try Wolfenstein 3D, though she watched me and made sure I didn't turn into a homicidal psychopath. I didn't.

Halo: CE when I was 11 or 12. I think it was also my first FPS game, think I played another shooter before it. Remember my first kill was a plasma grenade stick kill.

Uh...I'll have to think back about this now. Looking at my current games, I see DMC3 as my first M-rater that I still have kickin' around. I was, I believe, 13 or 14 at the time of snagging it off my grandfather? I can't for the life of me remember the year.

Earlier than that, I played Silent Hill on the PS1 when I was like, 7 or 8. For like 5 minutes. Then my mom took over and I just watched. It was scary as hell to little old me, if I remember right. And she played it at night before I went to bed, too. Kept having nightmares about things crawling up the stairs outside my bedroom door. 8/

Isn't the ESRB M rating 17 plus?

cause IIRC AO rating is the 18+ one, and most stores ban those games, off the top of my head I can really only remember manhunt and maybe 2 other games ever getting that score while still being shipped. None of which I ever played.

As for M rated games though, orange box on my 17th birthday (well, maybe I did play some doom when I was younger but I don't really remember).

My first 18+ game (We call it Rated M) was Killzone 1 on the PS2, I was 8 at the time if I'm remembering it correctly.

Game: Half-Life 1
Age: 6
It looked like shooting block men, but still it had blood. I would get up an hour before school and play it before breakfast, good times.

Not a clue, maybe GTA3, maybe mortal kombat. Never really paid attention to ratings.

Heh, be jealous x2. I was raised by two women (Though I refer to my biological mother as mum) and they both are huge gamers. Though mum probably has her tastes closer to mine, since she loves shooters and RTS games. Meranda my other mother was into fighting games mostly.
