First I played or first I owned? If played, halo 2 at about 9-10, if owned, halo 3 at 12, 13

Hmm... Mortal Kombat probably. If not then either War Gods or Turok 2: Seeds of Evil for the N64.

First 18+ game? Eternal Darkness, shortly after it was released I rented it, nearly soiled myself during some of the insanity freak-outs, especially the memory card one. Of course, I was nowhere near 18 at the time, but once you're addicted to horror, there's no turning back. Eternal Darkness was a gateway drug, the next year I upgraded to Silent Hill 2 and will never be the same again.

Half Life 1 when I was...4 or so. Not really that violent.

I beat the game on normal, with no assistance back then.

Mortal Kombat

aka the first M game

I was like 3 or 5 I can't remember... it was pretty new at the time I believe

my mom hated me for it because I would try the moves on her after I played

Diablo II. It also happens to be my favourite game of all time, go figure.

I think I was about 9 or so.

Hmm, I believe it was Serious Sam in 2003, I was 12 at the time, always had a laugh at suicide bombers :)

The original GTA (platinum version) for the PS1, for my 16th birthday, or possibly my 15th.. pretty sure it was my 16th. I got Tekken 2 (platinum version) at the same time.

I may have got Die Hard Trilogy (platinum version) for the PS1 first, but in the UK there are two age rating systems BBFC (which GTA fall under) that is considered legally binding and ESRB which is a set of guidelines for computer games (which Die Hard Trilogy was subject to).

Halo: Combate Evolved
Shit, I don't know, maybe ten.
Violence included swearing, blood 'n' gore, death, zombies, mutilation of corpses.

Grand Theft Auto Vice City, which I borrowed form a friend, and he never asked for it back.
I was about 12/13 when I got it.

Well Australia as we all know has no 18+ games. So my first MA15+ game was Duke3D when I was 6. Those were the days.

Games were not labeled as such at the time, but I suspect, had the ESRB existed in 1992, Wolfenstein would have been rated M. I was 10 at the time.
