I can remember what it was called, but played it on the amiga 1000, it was some ninja game, which was that violent really, but the ending scene you find the boss who is some guy in the suit and he crys "please dont kill me" and you end up killing him anyway... but the way he said the "please dont kill me" haunted me as a child so i use to turn the volume off for just that bit...being really young it was freaky..

Oh and this knight game which was fairly gruesome for its time... Moonstone: A Hard Days Knight, I use to play that heaps, was so much fun :) always played it with my brother!! him being 10 years older than me would always win >.< but now I own him at all games, so i guess it is even :p

back in 198X, my dad saw me playing Metal Gear. The classic games that eventually inspired the MGS series. My dad deemed it to violent, and forbid me to ever play it again.

So, that's my first violent game. :) It probably freaked him out that his daughter was playing violent video games. I turned out Ok though. *twitch*

My most current ex showed me that. I can see that being all the rage, back in the day. :)

Nothing like mortal combat, Its fighting not bludgening murder, Were looking for bludgeining murder.
Fighting isn't violent? The fatalities aren't murder?

I was gonna say Doom or Wolfenstein but then Skizle's post reminded me about Turok.

Turok. i think its sad that my brother still remembers the big cheat to this very day
This was THE first violent game and shooter I've played, and I remember having written down that big cheat and playing the game using that for almost the entire time I've played. When I was a kid that game was just too hard for me, I had to cheat.

I also had to turn off the blood.

I'd guess Halo CE or something. Ha. You could melee dead people and their blood would spill out. Good times.
that was a cool feature, just cause my friend and I would make the game choke by doing it to every body in the room and listen to the xbox choke as the frame rate died. Its cool when you take out an Elites shield and against a wall then pump him with the assault rifle and the blood would saturate the wall, like in the movies, made the game so much more immersive.
My first one should Perfect dark on the N64, Or conkers.
