what was your first videogame?

Spyro the Dragon. I played that to the point where I could start the game and perfect it within two hours. Only after that did I really go back to the origins of gaming and play the NES and its associates.

Wow, 44 posts to the thread, and I'm the first to mention this system for a first game, but here we go:

My first game was Astro Warrior, for the Sega Master System, and I think I was 5 (which makes it a quality game, if I can even remember it when I'm 26 now!) We got the SMS for Christmas, and I didn't play for a couple days because I was scared that I wasn't going to be any good at video games...little did I know how badly I'd get hooked.

I do not remember the name of it, I was very little, and can only recall snapshots of it. The second game i remeber playing (the one that got me whining for a game system) was a racing game called road blasters.

Played lotsa random flash PC games when I was really young, but the first proper console game I remember playing is Kingdom Hearts back in, uh...2002? It came with my PS2. Ah, good times.
