What will be GOTY for 2011?

My money's on Skyrim. The past four games Betheda Game Studios has made have been GOTY. That's a tough record to beat.
Plus, when you consider the games almost 4 year development when most other games this year have seen less than 2.
Uncharted may surprise me, but I really think that's the only contender now that ME 3 has been pushed back to 2012.

Xbox - Gears of War 3
PS3 - I don't really know, could be a range of titles but more than likely Uncharted
PC - Skyrim without a doubt
Overall - probably looking at a battle between Skyrim, MW3 (ugh.), Battlefield 3 and possibly even Dead Island, depedant on how it is recieved. Maybe LA Noire and Portal may be in the runnings too.
PS3 - I don't really know, could be a range of titles but more than likely Uncharted

Personally for me its going to be Saints Row 3. I dont give a flying fuck about about Skyrim. didnt care for Oblivion either. Deus Ex is a bit meh personally given the move backwards to "Lets make it a Male only Protagonist" after Deus Ex 2 had the option of being either gender, though it still has a chance to win, given the series being as successful as it was, but that may be a DNF Moment, i.e. the "old nerds" expecting the second coming from nostalgia. So it may turn out bad too, Deus Ex that is :3

Which seems, at this point, to be a bigger, better version of 2009's best game, Demon's Souls.
Failing that, FORZA MOTORSPORT 4 probably won't win GOTY, but thus far it looks like it is going to kick the ass of every Gran Turismo game ever released.

for me personally, definitely saints row 3, cannot wait for that game.

I think Portal 2 is probably going to win it. Regardless of any other games coming out, Portal just really seems like the obvious choice that they're going to go with. (Not that it's an undeserving candidate, of course.) One thing not really going in its favour in terms of NOT winning is that it was released fairly early during the year, so come December or January or whenever GOTY is decided, the hype and excitement will have disappeared for Portal 2 and it might be somewhat forgotten about.

At the moment, L.A. Noire, but by the end of the year it will probably be Skyrim. Though Uncharted 3 will win most of the awards for GOTY.
