You're thinking of the Barrett M468. The 416 is still 5.56firedfns13 said:isnt that also the .68 caliber one?Jedoro said:H&K 416-an M4, but more reliable than Colt's version

oh right... well the 468 is pretty reliable too, being able to shoot with water and sand in it and upside down.Jedoro said:You're thinking of the Barrett M468. The 416 is still 5.56firedfns13 said:isnt that also the .68 caliber one?Jedoro said:H&K 416-an M4, but more reliable than Colt's version
Me too, naginata ^_^ one that can detach from the handle to be a sward and pole. I have one of those and I'm fairly good with it.New Troll said:Najinata. Picture and description posted in another thread like this one.
Well, some weapons might take more skill to use properly, but that would make it harder to use. I would choose a more accessible, and atleast a little easier to use. Hence a gun. That would give you the better chance to survive. Why choose a difficult, and primitive weapon, over a gun?la-le-lu-li-lo said:It takes skill to shoot a gun, at least to do it well. I also quite like the compound bow. Gives it a bit more oopmh, but you still have to practice a bit to get good at it.
True it does take some skill to hit what your aiming at, but about as much skill as walking a dog all you have to know how to do is pull the trigger.la-le-lu-li-lo said:It takes skill to shoot a gun, at least to do it well. They're exactly the same to aim & shoot, but their design puts more force into the draw, thus allowing you to shoot further and with more force.Srkkl said:True it does take some skill to hit what your aiming at, but about as much skill as walking a dog all you have to know how to do is pull the trigger.
Compound bows are pretty cool, but somthing about them make me not want to use them, I don't know why they just "rub me wrong."
It's certainly easier to kill something with a gun than most other primitive weapons. Also, I have practice with guns so it's an easy choice for me.ExaltedK9 said:Well, some weapons might take more skill to use properly, but that would make it harder to use. Thanks for the love! ^^KneeLord said:<3la-le-lu-li-lo said:I've never been a 'normal' girl. I wear heels but I love guns. :sigh:
On topic, I've always had a fondness for handguns - particularly revolvers. On military grade small arms, FN SCAR-H, FN FAMAS, FN 2000, H&K G36, H&K MP7, H&K UMP 45, IMI UZI, IMI CTAR Tavor, yadda yadda.
If I had my druthers though I'd just be shooting up plasmids.
Yeah I'm a big fan of tradition, but thats not why compounds are wierd to me, I just don't like how little resistance there is after you pull it more than half way back, It's just wierd.la-le-lu-li-lo said:They're exactly the same to aim & shoot, but their design puts more force into the draw, thus allowing you to shoot further and with more force.Srkkl said:True it does take some skill to hit what your aiming at, but about as much skill as walking a dog all you have to know how to do is pull the trigger.

But they aren't traditional if that's your issue.
Also, have you ever shot a gun...? Any gun?
Okay, that is weird, I'll grant you that. Especially if the draw-back is more than 75lbs. [I'm little, keep in mind.] Feels weird, but not in a bad way. I got used to it.Srkkl said:Yeah I'm a big fan of tradition, but thats not why compounds are wierd to me, I just don't like how little resistance there is after you pull it more than half way back, It's just wierd.
Also, of course I've shot a gun. I'm not a huge gun buff so I don't know exactly what they're called when I see them, but bear hunting is a huge hobby of mine and my dads so I'm pretty familiar with high powered rifles. Also me and my dad have won a couple of gun tournaments, now it was just 12 gauge skeet and .22 target shooting but I'm a badass at aiming.
