Yeah I'm a big fan of tradition, but thats not why compounds are wierd to me, I just don't like how little resistance there is after you pull it more than half way back, It's just wierd.

Also, of course I've shot a gun. I'm not a huge gun buff so I don't know exactly what they're called when I see them, but bear hunting is a huge hobby of mine and my dads so I'm pretty familiar with high powered rifles. Also me and my dad have won a couple of gun tournaments, now it was just 12 gauge skeet and .22 target shooting but I'm a badass at aiming.
Okay, that is weird, I'll grant you that. Especially if the draw-back is more than 75lbs. [I'm little, keep in mind.] Feels weird, but not in a bad way. I got used to it.

Well then you, as a fellow gun person [sorta], you ought to know it takes skill to shoot at a target accurately! Especially long-range.
True but most of the skill involved the the shooting I do is just patience, I think you can stalk anything if you can stalk a bear. The only thing more frustrating is Elk. But I'm getting off topic. Thanks for entertaining me with this disscussion.
