What would happen if you put a Werewolf on the moon?

Title sort of explains it.

I think that on the moon, the person will become a Werewolfwhatever stage of the lunar cycle the moon is in, regardless of if it's a full moon.

But what do you think happens?

(Yes, this thread has very little point, but it could be fun and interesting. And yes, I am a bit bored.)

EDIT: The Werewolf in question both exists and exists in an area where oxygen is present on the Moon.

His moon detection instincts would overload and he'd either explode or turn into an Ultra-wolf (imagine a werewolf with wings that can breath acid).

If you put them on planets with different moons they become different animals, our moon just turns things into wolfs.

Jupiter might have one for pigs...

whenever the werewolof is on the light side, hell be a werewolf...
whenever hes on the dark, a human, and frozen solid...

i figure itd be caused by some shitty lunar-powa-sunlight-reflecty shit...
but... this just proves that werewolfs were thought up before people understood space properly...

His head would implode. Even if he had a space suit on there, it would be ripped off in the transformation process. His head would still implode, but it would be a wolf's head.

Nothing. Since the transformation is triggered by the moon's influence on the Earth, not the moon itself.

Full, it shifts and dies.
Otherwise, a very sad human.
There are no moon stages on the moon, there are Earth stages on the moon, that's kind of the point of this thread: there isn't a full moon on the moon, since the moon has no moon.

Assuming he can survive the lack of atmosphere, it would depend entirely on the specific werewolf mythology you are going on. Is the moon itself a source of power, which forces the werewolf to change? It would turn him into a werewolf, possibly an even more extreme werewolf, maybe super powered, maybe completely rage filled, maybe ascendently enlightened, depends on the nature of the werewolf mythology. Whatever the base werewolf change is, taken to an extreme.

If the full moon is basically a symbol that represents something to the wolf himself, then likely not. Standing on the moon is a very different symbol then looking at it. If there werewolf has more control over the transformation process, then the werewolfs belief would come into play.

Its also possible that either werewolf stages are a function of periods of time which coincide with being a werewolf, in which case it doesn't matter were the werewolf actually is. Also, the werewolf might rely on earth based powers, and that powers synergy with the moon. In which case, it only matters what it's like on earth, and the werewolf might be so divorced from his earth based power that on the moon, he is unable to turn into a werewolf at all...which would be a competitor in the, "Greatest irony in history" contest.

He'd suffocate and die, thus becoming a floating werewolf corpse orbiting the moon.

For a classier answer, I'd say he'd summon the interplanetary gods of the cosmos and wreck havoc and vengeance down upon mortal earth, conjuring his dark-ethereal army of vicious carnivores from the etches and spaces of time... or something.

The moons relative position to the earth is what affects a Werewolf, not just seeing the phases/stages of the moon.
It's magic and metaphor, not science.
So, yes the stage/phase of the moon still matters.

Think 'If a tree falls in a forest, does it still make a sound' type deal.
