It would be the coolest place you could imagine, a place you just want to roam free and explore for hours. Only to find the horrific truth that the place is covered in invisible walls.
This.

There is no jump button, no weapons, and you have to complete a task within a certain time limit. However, they don't tell you what the task is and when the time limit is up you have to go through a ridiculusly long failure/death scene before it all starts over again.

First, you must go through an unskippible 2-hour tutorial that shows you all of the basics but none of the things that you would actually need help with. Then, after every level there is a 45-minute long cut scene written by the writers for the worst anime you can think of. Oh, and you would be forced to play all the levels with a wii controller, and there is no save.

It wouldn't be a lake of fire it'd just be a lake ... (a.k.a. a water level) and the only dry patches of land would look amazing like someone said before except thier blocked by invisible walls like he said.

I picture a constantly shifting virtual landscape where you are forced to play the one game you hate most for all eternity, there is no-one to share your sorrow with except fanboys and l33t speaking harcore gamers (who view you with content, hatred and suspicion).

You will have no bathroom breaks and you will always feel the urge to grab something to eat or drink in the middle of a tricky or important moment, your clothes shall itch and the air will be foul and musty as your eyes scream in agony from strain and a lack of sleep.

In the little sleep you get you shall see visions of your friends and family condemning your choice to be a gamer and your name will be widely used as a term of abuse among gamers.

That would be Gamer Hell.

and in the deepest circle of hell in gaming satan's 3 mouths would sit WoW, the Wii and EA for they have committed the greatest sins against gaming...(if you were like WTF!? to that read a little bit about dante's inferno)

Probably 8-bit hello kitty with no quest/story line and also no possible attack options. Every character would be a fuzzy 8-bit rendering of some 'cute' animal that could only meow or bark or squeak or whatever in the interaction options, and yet somehow you'd know they were mocking you.

*calls up the E.T. game*
"Hey, what does it look like down there? *pause* ugh huh, yeah, got it"
He says he doesn't know because it uses Doom 3's engine and everything is totally dark all the time.

Video game hell would be your basic everyday online match of Halo 3. A bunch of bitchy 10 year olds and a bunch of cocky 20 year old tools who think they are cool when they argue with the 10 year olds.

A dark and bleak place where there is a 10 second control delay, no checkpoints, no save files, and a ping of 200.

You'd be forced to play round after round of Counter-Strike, but the enemy team would be 5 times the size of yours, be made up entirely of hacker-admins, and you never gain money.
