What would you do if your doctor said you have only 80 years left to live?

I have to assume the amount of time is a massive typo. I mean 8 years maybe, 8 months definitely would be cause for alarm, but 80 years?

I don't think it was a typo. I think the opening poster is challenging us to look at the normal human lifetime in the same way we look at people who do have much shorter spans left, and therefore carpe diem.

Your profile says you live in the US so I am going to hope the "only 80 years" part is a typo, you know since the life expectancy in the US is "only" 78.4 years.

(No one likes to face mortality but 80 years is seriously generous!)
