Whats a great Romantic Comedy Anime?

Well Clannad/Clannad After Story is definitely my favorite romantic comedy, and it's also just my favorite anime of all time, but it's also quite tragic. If you don't mind shoujo anime may I recommend Kaichu-wa Maid-sama? And if you do mind shoujo anime, then I recommend Clannad and Clannad After Story.

What is shoujo?

You know that you can google that word.

But anyway, from Wikipedia "In legal settings, shōjo is a subset of shōnen (meaning "minor") and refers to any female juvenile who has not reached the age of 20.[8]
In Japan, the word shōjo has many applications outside of the law. It refers to anything of, for, or about school-age girls.[9] Examples include shōjo manga, shōjo culture,[10] shōjo novels, shōjo hobbies, and shōjo fashions, among others."

Well, get ready to immediately dismiss shoujo anime as an option.

It's essentially manga and anime made for teenage girls...

But like stated above, it's also the Japanese word for "young girl" that being it's target audience, and the same thing can be said for shounen anime. Shounen is the word for "young boy" an teenage boys are generally it's target audience.

The only true Romantic Comedy I have ever seen that doesn't involve aliens, ninjas or super powers is Maison Ikkoku. This is my favorite anime series of all time.

Ouran High School host club is magnificent. Don't listen to what people say about being really gay it's so, soooooooooooooooooooo funny. Also, could anyone tell me what Desu and Kawaii means.

Anyway Desu is a connecting word just to make a sentence personal rather than impersonal, if a character says it a lot it is meant to be cute.

Kawaii basically means 'cool'. That is so kawaii!

Cute. It is a japanese word for cute.
Not a direct translation, but it is what it is mostly used for. I think what it actually means is small and fragile or something.
Not to be mistaken with "kowaii", which is "scary".

Cool would be "sugoi".

Ok I dont know if this has happen to you but as soon as I watch a romantic comedy anime I immediately want to jump right on to the next one. But now I seem to be stuck.

Ive watched: Toradora, Chobits, DearS and if it counts Welcome to the NHK.

Ya lol I saw it along time ago but it pissed me off there relationship never went anywhere. Unless there is a third season Ive been missing.

Don't worry, you probably still won't watch it. It kinda pissed me off when you said you weren't a pedophile, though, since pedophile-esque stuff is kind of the exact opposite of what's in shoujo anime.

well there is fumofu and season 2 but most anime relationships dont go anywhere.... I guess goddannar has one that moves places


its also got lots of bouncing boobs (or fan service, if you suck) but it was a pretty damn good series after a bit of a weird start
