Yea it did sort of seem shallow after that but still pretty good anime.

Has it all, romance, comedy, fan-service, action, bad-asses, epic plots, cool fight scenes, hot chicks galore not just in the classroom, loli vampires, ass kicking Kunoichi, Hot robot maids, catgirls,bunnygirls, and dragon girls and every other kind of girl, magical weapons, Shotacon Class presidents, time travel, martial artist chicks, need I go on?

Or just buy it, I think it's fairly cheap now.

Ignore everything everyone else is saying and watch Clannad. It will make you laugh, it's really adorable at times, it will make you cry, and it will make you bawl like a baby. It will also make you weep until your eyes are sore. Seriously, it's freaking good. But don't worry, you'll have more than your share of hilarious moments as well. In fact, the tears don't really start coming until later on. Holy crap, is it good.

Well I have no idea where specifically you can buy it from in the US... but maybe there is a Forbidden Planet? * Scratch that it seems to be UK only... any good 'alternative' store should stock some though.

Or just generally any DVD store normally has a few anime titles if not a full blown anime section.

A few I can think of are Love Hina (obviously) then some older ones from Rumiko Takahashi being "Urusei Yatsura" and "Maison Ikkoku"

I generally advise on shops because I never buy online and people shouldn't be expected to buy online.

But yeah online is totally an option.
