Soul Calibur IV, I loved all the previous ones but this one was just... Ugh, It hardly explains everything, all the menu's are in a dark red atmosphere making it hard to see, the Story missions are extremely mundane and repetitive, the characters have been emo'd up past recognition, it's too dark and compared to the great games of Soul Calibur 2 (Weapon Master and Link) and Soul Calibur 3 (Alternate endings to stories) It's just too meh...

Black Ops. Single-player was interesting, but in the end the gameplay was a worse version of MW2's "spectacle for the sake of spectacle". The multiplayer is an unbalanced pile of shit, with hands-down the worst spawn system ever implemented in a shooter. Sniping is completely broken as well.

Everything about that game was sooo bad...I just...it gives me an aneurysm attempting to describe it.
Good for a laugh though...
Holy Shit. o_0

I was actually gonna say this one. You're right, what you do is watch a few minutes of drawings of amime characters speaking in japanese to each other, then you choose one of the many vehicles that all behave the same, with only the bumper cam as an option, then you drive around a wide corner in persuit of absolutely cock all, and bam. Level complete.
And repeat.
It's the same corner every time, too.

I'd say Urban Chaos for the PS1 is definitely one of the worst game I've ever played. Horrible(!) graphics, sound and controls. I don't think I was able to play it for more than 1 or 2 hours.
You know they actually made a second one? It may have been a reimagining or something, but it was pretty fun. It's called Urban Chaos: Riot Response.
Yeah, I've heard of it, but never known anyone who've actually played it.
It's good to know it was fun to play, just goes to show that the premise of a horrible game can actually be turned into a good game in a sequel.

Who knows, maybe we'll see a Big Rigs 2 someday, and it'll be awesome? ;)

EDIT:

Just watched some youtube footage of Riot Response, and I think it's safe to say that it has absolutely nothing to do with the first one in any aspect imaginable. So I guess it really goes to show that a crappy game can become good if you just change everything but the name.

That I've played? Superman 64. I spent two hours trying to complete the first hoops trial and gave up.
None of any of these games hold a candle to this when it comes to absolute shittyness. At least the other games mentioned were actually functional

Does it not sound a bit strange that you mistook "Cell-Shaded PoP (Prince Of Persia) game" as "Borderlands"?
As I said, having never played a player a Prince of Persia game I didn't know what PoP stood for. Borderlands is the only cell-shaded game I know of.

Black Ops.

Honestly, for as many people that bought it, and as many people that still play it, I'm surprised. Sure, it can be fun at times. Like, if you're screwing around on multiplayer with the crossbow and tomahawk. Other than that, the single player campaign is horrible (I couldn't finish it. It drove me insane how straight up bad the level layout was, how boring the campaign in general was, and how crappy the enemies were as a rule. The only level I thought was even slightly cool was the Soyuz launch, and the end to that was more than a little bit unrealistic). And the infinite spawns were rather annoying. Seriously, since when is it possible to fit 127 men in to a shack the size of my bathroom? Did the Russians start using clowns as cannon fodder?

On to the multiplayer. To start, the weapons were crap. Much like World At War's weapons, the best ones are only gotten late in the leveling up, and there's extremely little motivation to prestige. Not only that, but the levels are, yet again, crappy. There isn't a single one that I can say I look forward to playing, and most of them I severely dislike. I pride myself in being accurate, which means that I typically use single-shot weapons and snipers. However, snipers are completely useless in all of the levels, and the way they handle makes using them for short-range sniping (no, not quick scoping) neigh impossible. The semi-auto weapons in the game are also extremely poorly designed. Seriously, the AK-47 is more accurate than the M14, and the Commando more accurate than both of them, and snipers are about on par with the ballistic knife. Am I the only one that finds that nonsensical?

Overall, I'm sad I wasted $60 on the game. I would've paid $30 for it, but if I'd known how bad it was beforehand I wouldn't have bothered. Definitely the worst game that everyone played.

Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing.

It's the most mindbogglingly bad game ever made.
How can you guys even think any game other than this is the worst game ever, this game didn't even have alpha testing before it was released
Because most people on this site want to appear indie by saying a good game is shit, case example the guy who said Fallout 3 is the worst game ever which is just stupid. If that is the worst game he has ever played then he hasn't played many games

OT: I don't own that many bad games, however I thought Charlies angels for the ps2 was a pile of utter wank

Medal of Honour, hands down worst game of 2010. Crappy n' short campaign, highly unlikeable characters and shitty story telling. The multiplayer is repeatative and mundane. The gameplay is just soooo boring and shooting people is even worse. Screw you DICE!
That was pretty damn terrible, but I found Far Cry 2 from 2009 to be worse.
Hey, I loved Far Cry 2, beautiful game. Yeah I suppose most of missions where composed of go here, destroy or kill this etc, but it did it so well. And I love sniping from a hillside, taking out a guys leg and luring out his buddies and wound them too. I do understand where your coming from.
A lot of Far Cry 2's problem was in its name. A lot of us picked it up expecting something of the light-hearted serious sam style romp through some of the prettiest graphics available. When we got something a lot more like STALKER than Far Cry, we were a bit dissapointed :)
Eh... Far cry 2 was a very mediocre game for me, wasn't bad but it wasn't that great. Can't drive for longer then 30 seconds before your car gets shot to shit, get out, kill the assholes who shot it, fix your car, repeat.
Then going to camps, scoping the place out ontop a hill, then dropping down and attempting to ninja the place only to get caught due to flawed stealth and stupid AI. Also... Whats with the ragdoll physics? It's like as soon as they die 'slow mo death' cheat is always on, they fall over all stiff like a manican someone bumped. Then everyone talking faster then Yahtzee didn't help.
Although it still had it good parts. Off roading in a jeep when your not being shot was fun, the first aid system was realistic and awesome, good buddy system and good gun physics. If only the rag doll physics weren't shit to compliment it...
On topic: Wet.

After falling in love with the game, Front Mission 3, it was no wonder but when I made one of my rare trips into town to buy some christmas presents for people, and found Front Mission Evolved, I bought it.

While waiting for the Game to download off the internet via Steam, (I can't see why i couldn't just installed it off the disc. Lets face it, the only bonus to buying games in store, instead of over the internet is the fact you don't have to wait for it to download!!!) I read some reviews of the game and watch some gameplay videos.

I was horrified to find out but there was no turn based strategy, which i had fallen in love with from its older counter parts, and the only thing that hadn't changed was the fact that the robots were still called wanzers and you could customize them.

The game controls handled like a cow, and the humongous story line i had came to expect from a Front Mission game had been dumbed down, and why did i need to install steam to download a game i have a disc for again?

If you want a game where you use massive chinese robots to fight each other and have the ability to customize them, i hear Armored Core is a much better choose, Armored Core 5 should be release for the PS3 in 2012, but being part of the master race i own a PC.

Naughty Bear.

Grrr. I read the release notes and failed to do my usual resarch. I bought this hunk of steamy, semi-liquid crap because, while I was so aware of the potential pit-falls that I figured;

"Nah, there's no way they fucked it up that bad."

Yeah, well they did. A kid's game, that's 'not for kids" Ugh. I hate you.

Well thats the point. I agree on killing it but it should not have seen the daylight to begin with. Damn it still makes me mad to think of that crappy game.

HAWX. I wanted to like the game, I really did. But every single time I started having fun, some meathead character started talking. If the game had at least been self-aware of its preposterous plot I might have been able to enjoy it; instead, I was eventually forced to shut the game off before my brain revolted.

I had very nearly the same experience with Army of Two when it was revealed that terrorists had hijacked an aircraft carrier.
