What's the deal with the ZP hate?

Yeah Zero Punctuation brought me here to It's still kind of weird, I think. I've had it explained to me a lot now but the people that are hated are banned instantly.

I don't hate everybody that came to this site because of Zero Punctuation, I don't hate Zero punctuation, I don't even mind the comments section of the videos. Well like I don't mind the youtube comments, it's funny to watch people so passionate about such small things.
As long as that's where the talk of the videos stay, when somebody reviews a game in our User Reviews section with a touch of humour that Yahtzee has reviewed, there is a good chance of somebody simply posting.
"TL;DR YOU IZ NOTZ YAHTZEE!!!"
Well perhaps that is an exaggeration, but something to that extent. It also annoys me when people will quote Yahtzee or use "Because Yhatzee said so" as evidence. That is the point you know that that isn't really somebody's opinion, just them going along with a person they worship because he is funny.
Even that wouldn't annoy me if it didn't happen every single time the opportunity presents itself.

Well to be honest Zero Punctuation actually introduced me to this site and we can all agree that I'm a wonderful person and a great contributor to The Escapist right?

I do that every now and then. You have to admit, the man has a way with words, and can at times condense an essay regarding a certain phenomenon into one snappy line. And if other people have said it better, is there really all that much reason NOT to quote them? Now, quoting them out of context or poorly, THAT is indeed an abomination.

Yeah, I will admit to quoting certain things like "It's a mummorpoger", but that's normally quoted to people who know Zero Punctuation to reference it, and draw a laugh or two as we all remember it.

Zero Punctuation brought me to this site, and i dont regret it. I had seen the Oblivion ZP on G4 and could never figure out where it came from till i saw a review for left 4 dead on Youtube.

Needless to say i was estatic.

Then i decided to check out the rest of the site.


Now I have something to live for !

Ahaha that was funny. What I don't get is, if the people that post instantaniously on Zero Punctuation videos get banned, why do people still do it?

Also is there a time scale to the whole banning thing or not? Would be a little harsh if they just auto-banned the first few posters regardless of when they posted it. Or is it like, he posted before he even had a chance to finish watching it.
