What's the game that you hate that everyone else seems to love?

For me, it's Bioshock Infinite.
I found the ending predictable, gameplay easily broken, too easy on medium, Booker was obnoxious and largely silent, the racism of Columbia is never explained, why they're more advanced on gender is unexplained, too easy to upgrade the vigors and guns you use, unexciting vigors, unneeded vigors (you only need to use vigors twice in the entire game), boring upgrades, far too much combat to the point it stopped most interaction, irritating stereotypical accents, constantly recycled enemies, and a overall boring take on reality manipulation.
You?

I really adored Spider-Man Web of Shadows. I even had to go out of my way to get my grubby fingers on a copy as it was pretty hard to find (2, 3? years after release). I loved being able to webswing and loved the ludicrous powers of the black suit. I didn't care that the story was lackluster and the cameos were being thrown in for cameo sake, just couldn't ruin the enjoyment. I guess it helped I never played a good Spider-Man game before it though, i.e. Spider-Man 2 which is supposed to be super brilliant.

It used to be COD, the modern ones, but that, like anything, depends on where you hang out on the internet. Also of course, over the years that turned around completely. I couldn't help but feel it was not as fun as Battlefield. I liked the original COD but the first MW was just boring and lacked any features.

A good second are the Lego games, I just find them horribly boring, even with 2 people.

Battlefield 3!
And Oblivion!
Oh and Deus Ex Human Revolution!
Oooh ooh oh and Arkham Asylum!
It's not that they're abd gamse, AA at least worked fine. It's just that they bored me to tears and any period of time spent playing it made me want to hurt myself.

Pokemon Black and White.

I didn't enjoy it and Gen 5 can just be a blur for all I care. Gen 6 will make it so!

Not so much "Game", as it is "Console": I've never been a fan of Any of the Playstation consoles. Maybe it's because of my experiences with it in my youth that made me against it (Being a Nintendo 64 Child, when my younger brother got the Playstation, we were confused as to why Spyro wouldn't save our progress. Same with the PS2 and the Original Kingdom Hearts. Plus, our discs always got ruined because we had no idea how to take care of them), but save for a handful of games (Org. Spyro Trilogy, Org. Crash Trilogy + Kart, Kingdom Hearts Franchise, Shadow of the Colossus, and Little Big Planet 1), I have never really liked the Playstation consoles...

The big one for me is Heavy Rain. I'm firmly convinced that it belongs alongside Aliens: Colonial Marines and Ride to Hell: Retribution in this generation's Hall of Buggy, Piss-Dribbling Shame. Absolutely nothing about Heavy Rain works. The story is atrocious, the characters are either completely unlikeable or have no stand-out qualities whatsoever, what little gameplay exists is plagued by every horrible design decision you can imagine, the game is fucking ugly from a graphical standpoint, and yet, somehow, millions of people called it an "emotional experience". The only emotion elicited in me by Heavy Rain was frustration that David Cage continues to find work in the video game industry when he clearly has such disdain for the medium and just wants to make films. The irony there is that the only filmmaker who's on par with David Cage as a storyteller is Tommy Wiseau.

For me it's LA Noire. I hate-finished that game. I found the Cole to be insufferable, the writing sloppy and poorly toned, and the storyline just plain bad.

Definitely Skyrim. I never got the Oblivion and Morrowind love either(haven't played Daggerfall and the other one) I am actually to the point where I am genuinely wondering if those people praising it and claiming to still play and have over 300 hours logged in are even for real. I honestly feel like everybody is playing some sort of practical joke on me. I simply. Do. Not. Get. It. Everything in that game seems pointless and boring to me. Like, why would I even want to do anything in that game? Why should I care about it? What is the purpose? Boring story, boring quests, boring combat, boring and vapid main quest, boring and vapid side quests. Boring dungeons, boring characters, terrible voice acting, terrible roleplaying. The only thing I found mildly interesting was the whole Rebellion thing, and more specifically the Elves' involvement in it(which I felt was simply handwaved, but then again, I only played the Stormcloak story) and even that was basically a backdrop for the main story. Which was BORING.

The only thing I actually liked about the game itself was those quiet, peacful moments walking through the gorgeous game world and listening to the nice soundtrack

Hate is a strong word for either of them, but I didn't find Red Dead Redemption or Tomb Raider to as great as people had made them out to be.

I mean, they are good, but I disagree with the amount of praise they got, especially Tomb Raider.

Gears of War 3 - Oooooh god I hate this game.
Bioshock 2
Grand Theft Auto ANY! (after Vice City)
Dead Rising - I am pretty sure this is the game that killed the zombie's scariness and now they all run and sound like leopards.

Anything involving Zelda. Every single one of them. And every single Final Fantasy.
And the Witcher.

Every JRPG ever. I certainly wouldn't waste any tears should the entire genre just die.

BUT, to name a series in particular,
FINAL FUCKING FANTASY. None of those abominations should exist. Let alone 20 of them.

Fallout: New Vegas. In fact, any Obsidian game that's done on an existing franchise (New Vegas, KotOR 2, etc). I've never been able to understand why everyone loves Obsidian's writing so much. It bores me to tears. I did a recent playthrough of the newer Fallout games. I absolutely loved replaying 3, and got bored and tired of New Vegas around level 20. I just don't get it.

DOTA2. I know it's a split choice between DOTA and LoL, but I hate so many of the "features" of DOTA, particularly because half of them only exist due to limitations in the original engine, and have no real place within modern engines. Not to mention that DOTA2 is basically the same exact game as DOTA, just set up as a standalone game and with a shinier coat of paint. Only reason I really play it at all is the voice packs are really nice (Rucks' announcer voice ftw).

The Uncharted games, especially 2. Now I may be preaching to the choir with this one considering Yahtzee is a known Uncharted hater and most people here tend to share his views, but I hear so much, especially irl, love for Uncharted it's silly. Its cover-based shooting is worse than Gears'. Its climbing and exploration is worse than Assassin's Creed. It's more linear than Final Fantasy 13. There's less unique weapons than Halo. Hell, the new Tomb Raider game was a better Uncharted game than any of the Uncharted games.

As I mentioned before, Witcher 2 should be on the "avoid at all costs" list. and while I don't hate it, I am very disappointed in the direction Borderlands 2 is going.

I can't stand Borderlands 2. I enjoyed the first, but the second really grinds my gears. The jokes feel far too off the wall, and the collectathon-esque sidequests are ramped up to 11.
The only part of that game that I liked was Tannis(?) the psychotic scientist. She was great.
I have friends, the same friends who I played through the first with, who have put well over one hundred hours into the game and continue to replay it and all of it's DLC. It seems to be a general opinion that Borderlands 2's approach of being even more ludicrous and expansive is better, but it's just not for me.
