Alone in the dark (the new one) bored me. I expected great things...
All I got was a stuck up - not scary - stereotypical - overhyped - badly voiced game with bad controls and boring combat. It was also far too easy, there was so many items around it turned from survival to I need a bigger jacket, or some more enemies to waste my items on. Some of the puzzles were illogical too, which didn't help. A shame really, because it had such potential. Maybe the Ps3 version will be better.

X2: The Threat and X3: Reunion. Only fan-made mods/missions/scripts can save that game from being boring. But it should be the people who make the game's job to make sure their game is actually fun.

ironically, i found the solo portions to be the least boring. WoW had very well done set pieces that helped to flesh out the context of a mission in order to disguise the repetitous monotony.

at higher levels, missions required a collecton of stacked items... now that was boring. and when grouping requires the logistic foresight and planning of a Christian Pot-Luck, that's when that becomes boring.
What an awesome analogy, I guess that earns a "ROFL XD XD" from me. Never thought I'd hear "WoW" and "Christian Pot-Luck" actually have anything to do with each other.

Also, I thought this was another thread (of the same topic) that I posted in but I guess not so, I'll just post what I found boring.

Resistance: FoM - and Halo 3 multiplayer after a few hours, no matter what mode, but oh Resistance takes the cake for boredom, I'm sure it gets a LOT better later but if I can't get past the first few levels without falling asleep then I'll never get to experience the games true glory. I've seen the later moments of the game, I just wish I looked up some cheats for level skips or something because man, I don't know what it is but everything in the game feels so "artificial" and "lifeless"...I've seen stick figure wars in flash movies more lively than the first few levels of resistance.

Its pretty rare that video games bore me but here it goes.

Test Drive: Unlimited. This game I got with my 360 and it bored me shit-less. This probably stems from the fact that I hate cars, and also the fact that I couldn't figure out how to get any money to buy better cars.

Mario and Luigi: Partners In Time. This game really disappointed me. I didn't play the first one due to lack of interest, but I did pick up the second one. You see, I absolutely loved the paper mario games (I still play the first 2 to this day, but I haven't been able to get my hands on the third) so I had high hopes for this game to be on that level. What I got was a shit story, uninspired puzzles, confusing level design, and boring combat.

and finally.

VT: Shootout!!!, worst example of a pixleated flash game I have ever had the poor judgment to play.

supprised no one said assasians creed. That game should get an award for most boring game ever. I thought I was playing a simulation/tuturial called "watching paint dry, but with lackluster stealth kills extreme edition."

Burnout Paradise... maybe because I was used to the other Burnouts, but that game just lost the Burnout magic somewhere, and thus, became average Joe Racer.

Oblivion - So wide, so open, so dull.

GTA4 - I finished the story, now there's noting to do. If I could go back and do my favorite missions again maybe it wouldn't be such a problem.

Any recent Need For Speed game

Y'know, I described these games to a friend as "EVE Online single-player" and never, ever, ever completed the second mission in X3. It was like "OK, if you want to be good, go farm credits for three days so you can get the ship that will survive the next mission, and once that's done, GO DO IT AGAIN." Why? ;_;

Its a close call between FF12 and Black & White 2.

I liked FF10 (only JRP i ever have liked) and expected 12 to be just as good but...meh. I hated the combat, plus the story didn't make a lot of sense and I didn't give a dam about any of the charcters.

Black & White 2 was such a shame. I liked the 1st one, even if I didn't finish it (it started to fall apart near the end) but the second one...just had no soul.

man im glad im not the only one that feels that way the idea of driveing up to the races and stuff is horrible its a videogame it needs some interface and ud always pull up to the same races it felt like plus the open world idea dosent really work for a raceing game
